Dil - 13 Oct 2012 12:42 - 1356 of 6918

Nah I reckon he'll opt for the better job Stan :-)

Stan - 13 Oct 2012 20:28 - 1357 of 6918

He's gone! Family reasons that are understandable http://www.burnleyfootballclub.com/news/article/howe-on-departure-121012-423529.aspx

A real shame for all that it's turned out the way it has, but that's life as we know and priorities must kick in.

How do you think we got Bellamy back ?

"Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has admitted he is unable to prevent Craig Bellamy leaving the club for Cardiff.
Rodgers said the Welshman would be leaving for compassionate reasons."

Dil - 14 Oct 2012 01:40 - 1359 of 6918

At least it wasn't his brother's wife , Giggs should have done the decent thing and come back to his home town too.

Wonder if Bale and Ramsey are married ? :-)

Stan - 14 Oct 2012 12:50 - 1360 of 6918

Indeed Dil, that did cross my mind.. And you have just resurrected it, Thanks for the Bellamy reminder/example -):

Don't fancy Scotlands chances against Belgium tonight RF, odds are not great. First goalscorer or to score at anytime maybe worth a punt though in this order:-

Mirallas 5/1 anytime 7/5
Hazard 6/1 anytime 7/4

As far as I know Fellaini still injured.

Haven't been followings the soccer scene as much as usual lately.....but I think Belguim are improving.....I have a tiny bet on Brazil against Japan....not been getting the betting right...had a small punt on Ukraine against Moldova and would you believe they drew the game....

Stan - 16 Oct 2012 15:38 - 1363 of 6918

"not been getting the betting right".. Oh really RF -):

Stan - 17 Oct 2012 13:38 - 1364 of 6918

Another qualifying away point by the home country.. whilst most of the colonies do less well -): http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19985628

Stan - 18 Oct 2012 13:33 - 1367 of 6918

The very nice Mr Terry (not) has apologised http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19989136

Stan - 18 Oct 2012 16:19 - 1368 of 6918

I said, ".. whilst most of the colonies do less well -):"

Dil - 19 Oct 2012 01:18 - 1369 of 6918

Most of one of the "colonies" don't give two monkeys since the Swsansea gypo's Coleman and Hartson been appointed .... ask Bellamy or even Bale on our summer tour (injured but played for Spurs in a pre season friendly day after Welsh game).

Welsh FA do everything on the cheap ... wot's your excuse :-)

Stan - 19 Oct 2012 07:27 - 1370 of 6918

Onto the important stuff.. Who's our next manager going to be?

Joe Say - 20 Oct 2012 08:28 - 1371 of 6918

Leeds doing themselves proud again

skinny - 20 Oct 2012 12:55 - 1372 of 6918

Yes what a fine example of a football fan (not) Chris Kirkland attacked by Leeds fan at Sheffield Wednesday

Stan - 20 Oct 2012 14:21 - 1373 of 6918

The term "football fan" always comes up when things like this happen (Yes I know the act takes place at a game of footy), but in reality whilse people who carry out these acts may have say a 10/15% interest in the game in general, their main interest is in violence, And is by no means restricted to Leeds.
