Well Done to Leeds tonight, better team deserved the win. Have to question the logic of Moyes making six changes, paid the price Everton were awful.

Dil - 26 Sep 2012 00:35 - 1302 of 6918

Must have been .... even we beat Leeds :)

The major LC. shock of course is Swindon's 3-1 win over Burnley -):

No argument Swindon were well worth their win, a very quick and tenacious performance by them, But not helped by Burnley making 4 changes from Saturday's win at Derby! Come on Eddie?.. it's one of 3 major Cups to go for.. Anyway, what is it about Roundabouts and Swindon?.. More soding Roundabouts then Roads! -):

Maybe of interest to Burnley, Man City, Bournemouth and Norwich fans on here, John Bond has snuffed it at 79.

John Terry banned and fined by FA over Anton Ferdinand incident

Chelsea captain John Terry has been banned for four matches and fined £220,000 following the incident involving QPR defender Anton Ferdinand.

Stan - 27 Sep 2012 15:19 - 1308 of 6918

Small beer where Terry is concerned, with the usual pathetic slap on the wrist nonsense.

Fred1new - 27 Sep 2012 16:16 - 1309 of 6918

Is that fine legally binding?

Stan - 27 Sep 2012 16:54 - 1310 of 6918

Probably Fred, but if not I'm sure that the FA will find a way to enforce it.

Skinny..I thank you -):

skinny - 27 Sep 2012 17:00 - 1311 of 6918

I think its "in force" - it just needs to be enforced! :-)

Stan - 27 Sep 2012 17:09 - 1312 of 6918

Actually I do remember years ago a referee I used to work with did say that their are "No rules in Association football.. their all Laws! so there we are.

Fred1new - 27 Sep 2012 18:10 - 1313 of 6918

In the distant past I can remember Terry's "comments" being made in banter in many changing rooms, without all the eye lid flutter.

Didn't like it at the time, but Terry and his mates are supposed to be adults and should be able to tolerate it.

-----------

Mitchell, it seems to me, because of his position was far more intentionally "offensive" than a pleb.

Joe Say - 28 Sep 2012 07:50 - 1314 of 6918

glad you all have so much more insight than a british court of law

Farcical imo, and I hope JT takes it to appeal

Stan - 28 Sep 2012 07:54 - 1315 of 6918

Well thank you for the complements, and he can appeal all he likes but that doesn't alter the fact that he's one nasty piece of work.

Joe Say - 28 Sep 2012 09:30 - 1316 of 6918

that wasn't the charge, but if it makes you feel connected with the rest of the PC brigade then good for you

Stan - 28 Sep 2012 12:06 - 1317 of 6918

So you don't deny that he is one nasty piece of work.. well at least we agree on that.

required field - 28 Sep 2012 19:16 - 1318 of 6918

I find it a shame that british soccer is all talk about JT in a heated moment having a nasty go at another player.....I prefer to talk about the football itself.....

Stan - 29 Sep 2012 08:04 - 1319 of 6918

Plenty of other football news about RF, just ignore what does not interest you like the rest of us. By the way do you support any particular Club or are you just a general football fan?

required field - 29 Sep 2012 09:57 - 1320 of 6918

Armchair fan of Leeds UTD....
