......and confirmation of a trading update which I think must happen by Tuesday at the very latest.
Even though its good news - its not what the market is expecting = another collaboration - no indication of size of revenue.

Still think a collaboration with the guys who supply packaging to MacDonalds and Coca Cola is a good thing for a packaging company.

And it does say "Stanelco plans to update the market on trading and other developments shortly."
Tomorrow would be nice, but willing to wait a week, as my Champion Invest needs a boost if I want to get this months number 1 spot.
For whats its worth, it is a Landmark deal, and this should be a real deal that leads to things for Stanelco. I will be buying in this morning for real.

I wonder if the market will also share that disappointment - more jam tomorrow
....or will it wait for the close statement before making a judgement !!!
Very Interesting

A great announcement, a foot firmly in the door with McDonald's and Coca Cola, things are building up very nicely.

this is a deal which will give seo access to the major us companies with perseco implementing the products to its customers rather than seo going to each one individually. This is eccellent news.

I always thought that SEO was to small at this stage to get a fall blown deal with Mc Donalds the joint effort with Perseco is what Seo needed, early days.
Research Page updated
42 Stanelco announce's that it has entered into a landmark cooperation deal with Perseco

Don't get me wrong, a fine deal/agreement for SEO. Yet another foundation in the long term building plan.
However for those who want to see the SP spike by a significant amount are probably gonna have to wait alot longer. Main reason, the market wants to see immediate revenue figures. If SEO announced that they had signed a deal with Perseco that will yield an estimated 50million contract within 3 years then the SP would have shot up.
Market does see potential , no doubt, but it also likes actual figures!!!
IMHO

Perseco is a secretive US private company that supplies McDonalds in particular. This is a huge business but as usual with SEO there is just an agreement to look rather than deals -- so probably will not be carrying me away
PLUS
No news on what is suposed to be their main business. We're only waiting now because they have not got anything good to say. THey appear to be waiting for some last minute deal to give trading statement as on my reckoning we are well into the close period.
Sure 3 years out these guys might make some money but with the current market cap they need to be making 15m net profit to get them on 10x PE. All that given what appears to be a head in the sand approach to their RF business

Perseco -
Based in Oak Brook, Perseco is owned by the Perlman family and other undisclosed parties. Perseco provides packaging and supply chain services for the MCD system worldwide and for Coca-Cola. Over the years Owner/Operators who have inquired about the ownership of Perseco have either been stonewalled or have received threatening letters from the MCD legal department.
You can see from above why the semi reluctance to give too much detail. At the moment anything connected to huge USA companies, such as those supplied by Perseco is getting negative reaction from the world in general. The USA because of IRAQ is not that popular ( a fact, not my opinion ), and the likes of McDonalds are for ever receiving threats.
If ever there was an indication of a future deal with a VERY BIG USA based, but worldwide corporation this is it.
Can't beleive that the SP has not risen. Perhaps it's the attitude of a person who thinks they have spotted a 10 note in the street and then realise it's only a 5. Disapiontment sets in. IE not the RNS they were expecting.

I have to agree Greekman.
The Macdonalds rumourings have been a plenty for the past three months and I'm very pleased to see it turning into a possible reality.
Driver I think your spot on Re: SEO being too small to go it alone, that had been my worry with these contracts with Macdonalds etc. Couldnt see how they were going to pull it off despite other information.
All in all, keep it coming :-)
