Bioprogress is a stock I have been in and out of quite a few times since it floated in May but not much mention here on the Investors' Room. Does anyone else follow this stock. I see it is up 1.5p today and a few good buyers seem to have appeared.

Yes i agree, DO NOT follow the rampers/tipsters without doing your own research. You could end up being bitter and twisted.

The last time the price fell it was because of the uncertainty around the court case.. hence not really any need to comment on the price fall.. this time, having won the case and the price falls considerably I do think there is a need to comment on it... bad management and this will discourage further investors who are thinking about buying

Not my most constructive comment, true, but not sure what to say. My aim is to long around here, but far too much volume, volatility and negative sentiment. I want to see some form of base as trying to call the bottom in these situations is completely pointless. You are quite correct Jumpin - watching brief only!
Fred - these are the kind of things we learn from. We don't learn from the good stuff! ;-)) Best of luck; you'll get there.
Must agree with others that some form of comment from the company is warranted in these situations and the longer they go without making a comment the worse it looks. Similar cases have left companies wallowing for months, if not years, and having sauntered through the ADVFN threads last night it is clear the main BPRG supporters are losing patience rapidly.

There very few rules on aim,as to a statement on current sp decline you would like to think they would issue some sort of brief,,but dont hold your breath.

Al, you must have sprinted thru them.:-) It would take me about 2 weeks to read last 24 hours posts over there.!!!
Agree with your comments, not added to small buy this AM, for reasons you state. Its a fun share if you get it right. Its a horror show if you miss time it!"

Maybe Kivver will tell you when we hit the bottom ... people like that always get in at the lowest price and call the top every time.

It seems to me that the MMS have made over 250,000 on this share so far to-day. I feel sorry for the MMs and will tell them so if ever I get to heaven.

I think it's balls to say that this rally and that decline are because the market is worried by.....(name your poison).
This share is unique in the AIM market. By volume it accounts for, I don't know, maybe half the volume of the whole AIM market. A few months ago you could not easily buy or sell it on margin but once that changed, the already volatile share became wildly volatile. Once a rally gets going, margined buyers pile in and vice versa. It is a traders share de luxe.
Look at the chart since February after the FMC deal was announced and basically catapulted this share into the big trading arena. It is a roller coaster caused by a large crowd of sheep/lemmings. The astute traders let them have their shares high and buy them back low.
The investment potential is all but lost in the noise. That is a risk I will run over a period where the swings make up the greater trend. That's my decision. No amount of short term trading by quick buck merchants will change what the company is striving to achieve unless their actions actually affect the company's financial standing. That is of course a possibility and I have to say I am not convinced we have an orderly market. But what can be done?
All we are seeing across the road is thousands of overstretched punters losing control of their basic functions. If you soil your outdoor gear in public, there is a tendency to become irrational....!

Fair comment, Bones. Its the Fear and Greed rationale of the market that is instilled in this stock at the moment.

Yes, Dil.. Probably the only near factual statement in the Press this morning was reference Bioprogress, a difficult to value Company.
In a climate like this it sure is from one day to the next.
Also, The masses are rarely correct in this game.
EDIT
Covered long for .75p. dont fancy overnight stay in this one. Need to sleep.

My position is clear, a paper loss of 35% at the moment. This is and always was a long term play and very risky one at that. Hope we have some good news soon. I hope to be still holding this one in a years time if they dont go broke in the meantime.
