No snow here but my cousin flew back early yesterday, lives near Maidstone and was worried re snow and getting home.
Lives in some god forsaken tiny hamlet,Easterfield near East Malling;
just rec'd email they got back ok last night but this am they have a lot of snow, 2" and as he was writing the snow was still falling.
Anyone want 32 degrees, no clouds, nil humidity, gentle breeze, warm pool,
cold beers, chilled champers & sauvignon blanc by the bucketful?
This would cure Jessies cold.
NB. And Hickey wants to go skiing!

can't seem to shake off the guinea pig theme... My children had two liitle gunea pigs called ranaldo and and leonardo , and our dog decided he wanted to play with it after chewing off the lock of the cage... poor Ranaldo dies of a heart attack, and the dog was mortified.... not a wound on the guinea pig so buried it. i went immediately to buy another one, who was black and named Pele (you guessed it , the kids like footy...sigh). Dog wants another playmate, so jumps to the high point I put the cage, ingeneously opens the door and takes Leonardo out... you guessed, another burial. I am quite distraught after the second death so take Pele off to my friend who has two other guinea pigs. She loves him but at a barbeque lunch, her dog found a way to open the cage and ..... funeral number three happened...... Don't think we are meant to have guinea pigs!!!

Spacie, should have thought of that one, after all I suppose it is a delicacy in South America.
MM... dogs are such family creatures.... as long as the home has on GP'S:-)

Jules - it's just the way it is.
We had Bertie and Sooty - hasten to add, Sooty was a perfectly formed dwarf Dutch jobbie - stayed tiny, if you know what I mean, as rabbits go - they frolicked together for many a year, until Mr & Mrs Fox came along.
It was one of those days today - with all the snow, it would have been a giggle to watch Bertie getting half-way up the ramp...only to slide back down again (yep, he was a fat-boy). Talk about Cap'n Oates - he was intrepid, in the guinea-pig scheme of things, plus he always somehow managed to avoid Sooty's amorous advances.

I have found this site which those of us who have been involved with guinea pigs that have sadly left us, may want to use. I am not sure if it caters for anyone guilty of the GP equivalent of manslaughter like me !

hello Daisy!!!
Oh I say, you got short changed on the ears dear, from a purely
bunny perspective that is............also I'd
put in a request to the owner that to complement your fur a
hazelnut brown and white towel would be better.
(it's ok guys just ignore us....girl talk - waddaya mean you didn't
think bunnies and gunieas could converse!)
