Cheers for that. A lot of buys today. Some folks seem very confident. We shall see. Perhaps some news re cc is due?

driver - 23 Jan 2006 11:20 - 14288 of 27111

johnny fox
As you say a lot of buyers today 3.5m buys and on such a bleak day for stocks cant be bad.

johnny the fox - 23 Jan 2006 11:26 - 14289 of 27111

driver, hi.
Agree, trade seems a bit too brisk considering there has been no news. Perhaps there will be something later. Am hoping common sense prevails or the whole cc could roll on & on for years. Of no benefit to either party.

3.9m buys v 675ksells hmm!

greekman - 23 Jan 2006 12:08 - 14290 of 27111

The MM's are not that interested at the moment, the only one on the Bid is EVO. There are none on the ask. Appears everyone is awaiting news.

blinger - 23 Jan 2006 12:09 - 14291 of 27111

If you go back 5 weeks or so you will see that there was a ` spike` in the price up to 17.5p, many people saw that as a shorting opportunity, and T+25 approx. from that period ends today. Most of the vol. is in my opinion short closing, indeed they are buys, but the mm`s and SET`s guys know what they really are.
It`s on the way down.

'It`s on the way down.'

Bought @5p for the long term my friend. Not bothered about price fluctuations.

('If you are not prepared to hold for ten years don't consider holding for ten minutes'...Warren Buffet)

Now who's investment nous am I going to take notice of ? A difficult choice that one!

blinger - 23 Jan 2006 12:51 - 14293 of 27111

well done Johnny, excellent profit, pity you didn`t take it at 28p though, its never going that high again.
Warren Buffet hasn`t have held Marconi then, or British Energy or dozens of others which have crashed?, he is a dinosaur, it will take another generation, or at least 20 years before the heady days of his `team` will be re-incarnated, people have to forget the bad times, youth is a great forgetter.
Good luck anyway, but a 600+% profit would do me.

johnny the fox - 23 Jan 2006 12:57 - 14294 of 27111

Hi. Sorry to disappoint but sold half my seo holding (350k) @28.

The other half owes me nothing. Can sit tight for a while.

Good luck.

garyble - 23 Jan 2006 13:16 - 14295 of 27111

BOS,

Like the T25 scenario, wiating for you T30, T35, etc, etc...

I'm sure you'll come up with a P45 at some point!

johnny the fox - 23 Jan 2006 13:27 - 14296 of 27111

Looks as though half the punters in the uk have shorted seo!!!!!! FDL

TANKER - 23 Jan 2006 14:27 - 14297 of 27111

we are going to go up .

johnny the fox - 23 Jan 2006 14:53 - 14298 of 27111

It would appear that todays 5.5mill buys are shorters closing their positions. Good job I can appreciate a laugh now & again.

Good luck to all.

bhunt1910 - 23 Jan 2006 16:05 - 14299 of 27111

A trolley load of bys just went through at 14.25 - something is a stirring ?

blinger - 23 Jan 2006 16:22 - 14300 of 27111

ah -I thought you were too foxy to miss 600+% Johny boy, excellent

regards.

blinger - 23 Jan 2006 16:24 - 14301 of 27111

-shorters are very active as the gang has noted, however watch out for the delayed multi-million sell hanging in the wings- then take a laugh-I shall.
There are 753m shares in operation, todays buys represent less than 1% of that, a fleabite for a few traders-at a total cost of some 800k- my house is worth more than that!!!

Look at the automatic trades- do you really think that we shorters close `en-masse`- its trickled in( I spoke to a broker friend who, alone, closed 1m short in several tranches today)-jaysus you lot need to go on a course on investment- oh and there goes 750k to chew on

What a bunch, and the price is down too, always the same those who take time to mock their betters lose out

lolool!!!

blinger - 23 Jan 2006 17:04 - 14302 of 27111

lol- and there go the other hidden minus 3m,told you!!

what a share!!!

johnny the fox - 23 Jan 2006 17:08 - 14303 of 27111

blinger hi,

The old boy might be a dinosaur but I wouldn't mind a percentage!

blinger - 23 Jan 2006 17:09 - 14304 of 27111

Aye, he has a few bob right enough- but he is a miserable old sod, reminds me of Murdoch-all cash and no craic!!!

zscrooge - 23 Jan 2006 18:00 - 14305 of 27111

As a member of the aristocracy, you must have done games or tarting because you didn't master the art of spelling.

aH scrooge, I assume you got that article about schoolboy rape by doing a google search-I hear people like you are being investigated by the CIA, what an odd thing to do, are you weird?.
As to the spelling of kudos, I shall chastise the staff-member(does that excite you scroogy) responsible for the typing.I would urge you also to find more rewarding things to do , looking for spelling mistakes on free bb`s must be very boring.
All in all you are a sad geek, may I also draw your attention to the fact that this is an investment bb, not one for trading links to gang-rape sites.
