I bought shares in this company at 4.5p in September 2003. I see they are rising. Can anyone tell me please the growth potential for this company as they have just been awarded several new contracts ?

Stephen,
I have 25,000 in this one myself, and am pleased to know that I am in good company.
Perhaps the bullish tips prior to Christmas set unrealistic expectations for the past set of results. The market has punished the lack of a 'big' contract.
I am convinced they will come in time, given the fact that the company has broadened its outlook to target banks and financial institutions as well as exchanges.
The company is exhibiting at a large trade show in late May, and that is probably the reason they wanted results out of the way early so that they could focus on sales at the show.
I am looking at 12-24months also and broadly similar price targets.
Weather's not bad, shares do well in sunshine!

Mail small caps review:
CMS WebView
CMS WebView, the financial data group, reports a 35% rise in turnover to 1.63m for 2003, and has reduced pre-tax losses by 20% to 543,000, figures that encourage Luke Ahern at Corporate Synergy to recommend the shares as a buy and set a target price of 18p against the current 11.5p.

I'm still holding tight. This is a great little prospect barely at the start of its journey.
It's doing all the right things. Great product pipeline, sales partnership agreements and cautiously managing cash.
I haven't been posting because I'm intensely bored with all the negativity.
The company is the same company that received all those bullish posts a short time ago. Prospects the same, cash position, turnover, losses all improving.
And the valuation? It's for nothing, lets face it!

A little dip into the eights today.( 8.75p)Looks like the bottom has not been made.MMs tried to up the price early on to test the upside Market was having none of it.Expect the price to continue lower 8-6p, before MMs tempt the buyers. However moving into the summer period with no announcement a return to 4p is not out of the question.

Still trying to talk it down then. Cms have cash worth 4p per share.
MM's also tested a lower price and that was soon withdrawn after one buy.

Offer will be reduced to 9p very soon. Will not post anymore until with have some news on TDI ( becoming a little boring). Until that happens price will continue to drop on thin volumes. IMHO SP and market cap is starting to look a little embarrassing to the company and its advisors, with very little interest in buying.

Thank you for this link. I have just listened to the interview. Certainly looks very promising. Definately worth holding as a long term investment.

That's a very interesting interview. He talked a lot of sense, although most of the detail has already been discussed on this board before.

POST 1462 from TSQ - I wonder if the start of its journey will be on the 20th May 2004 when there is the Exhibition where hopefully CWV will be able to show just what products it has got available to the mass marketers who will have a real interest in real tiime data. Any additional contracts gained thro this exhibition may kick starts this companies growth. It is well rated, well supported, has a great product which has even aroused the interest of the Americans. The cms web page linked to:-

is well worth reading. Good luck.

DWT 2004 will focus on the key issues facing the financial services industry, including new and more flexible approaches to networks, infrastructure and data; and the shift towards outsourcing and services.
New for 2004
The 10 year anniversary of DWT will be chronicled in a special publication, produced expressly for the event. The report will review the past decade of major advances in trading technology development, a history of the DWT event, interviews with major players, a round-up of opinions on current issues, data and analysis from Kimsey Consulting, and a spotlight on where some of yesterday’s top industry players are now.
A keynote panel discussion held during the event will discuss some of the issues raised in the report and will endeavour to predict how the market will change over the next ten years. Panellists will include high profile representatives of leading global financial institutions.
What happened at DWT 2003?
DWT 2003 maintained its position as one of the leading events in the financial services calendar. The event hosted 32 of the top technology vendors and leading industry associations, with over 700 visitors in attendance throughout the day. Some of the highlights of the day were popular vendor presentations from Axiom, BT, Caplin, IBM, Iris, and IPUG. The exhibition showcase also played host to a number of exclusive launches from Manamind, Syntegra and Wall Street Systems – further endorsing the importance of DWT among the vendor community. The networking continued long into the night with the DWT 2003 drinks reception and post-event drinks at the Vaults proving as always to be a great success.

Just logged on again, as I had got a little bored of the "stating the obvious" business of a drifting small-cap price on no news.
Bob Antell's interview is very informative and a gem in terms of my confidence in my investment.
It's obvious from his tone and style that he knows where he wants CWV to go. I wouldn't rule out a NASDAQ quote in the fullness of time, particularly if further US sales are produced.
The current valuation is quite literally "for nothing"! A joke. Superb opportunity for long term investors.

Could someone please buy a share so i that i can see the true offer now that the bid is at 7.5p. LOL
Imho i thought 6p and 4p targets were a little to bearish, but looking at the general trend in the markets and the summer period these targets are looking more and more acheivable. Statusquo your valuation " for nothing " a joke. You will know doubt be proved right "IF " the management perform as well as they think they will. However the price is likely to get a lot " funnier "

MM's are manipulating this share on thin volume.
MM 25k trade at 4.29pm. With all the sells today KBC Peel Hunt were alone on the
bid so we can assume that no other MM took in stock and felt the need to off load stock. Just manipulation from Winterflood Securities, with my average price
of 13.5p the short term price does not bother me.
happy to watch

It might have a long way to go down yet according to commentary on some of the boards, there again it might not. I think it is at about the right price given the lack of news and sales progress update. On that basis I'm back in with 2 x 25k trades this morning @ 8.1p.
