SUPERSCAPE - TECHNOLOGY FOR THE FUTURE. (SPS)

Happy1 - 03 Mar 2004 22:47

Superscape was founded nearly twenty years ago, and has been dedicated throughout its history to the development of ground-breaking software technology for the creation and delivery of innovative, high quality interactive 3D applications.
Over the years, Superscape has amassed unparalleled expertise and experience in the development of 3D software capable of working within the constraints of limited memory devices, slow processor speeds and strictly controlled file sizes.

Drawing on this knowledge, Superscape has established a world-leading position in the development of industry-standard 3D technology and applications for mobile devices. The company's Swerve technology has been developed specifically for wireless environments in close collaboration with ARM, and comprises a 3D engine (Swerve Client), authoring tools (Swerve Studio) and a broad portfolio of 3D content, with particular emphasis on 3D games. Swerve is being adopted on a global basis by many of the mobile industry's leading players, together with world-renowned content and brand organisations.

Superscape has corporate headquarters in Hook, Hampshire (UK) and San Clemente, California (USA) with regional offices in Tokyo and Sydney. The company is quoted on the London Stock Exchange (LSE: SPS).

Superscape (SPS) has received various tips in the press and by Analysts recently which will certainly give impetous to the share price. Indicators are looking good with the RSI rising off an oversold position and the MACD crossing showing BULLISH signs for the stock.

The mobile gaming market is still in it's infancy but the projected revenue is enormous. Mobile operators are looking at tapping the Gameboy market as they feel that users will not want to carry around a multitude of technology and if they have a mobile phone which can double as a gaming station than people will prefer this option.

People should also look at the recent contracts which SPS have signed for their technology. This is a technology company which could well be a great success in 2004.

SUPERSCAPE GROUP PLC SIGNS MOBILE GAMES LICENSING AND DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT
OPENING UP MASS MARKET REVENUE STREAMS WITH MORE THAN SIXTY OPERATORS AROUND THE
GLOBE

Wednesday 7th July 2004, Hook, Hampshire, UK: Superscape Group plc, the
technology based entertainment company and leader in revolutionary new mobile
games, today announced it has signed a significant licensing and distribution
agreement with an award winning games publisher. Under the terms of the
agreement Superscape's new partner, regarded as a source of high-quality and
innovative titles in the global wireless industry, will localise, publish,
distribute and support Superscape's mobile games to over sixty network operators
and their millions of customers worldwide.

Kevin Roberts, CEO, Superscape Group plc said: "I am very excited about the
agreement and delighted to be working with this publishing partner. With the
agreement in place, Superscape's global reach and mass-market consumer access
has increased dramatically.

"The agreement ensures that we gain the maximum exposure for our mobile games in
the minimum amount of time - without impacting on the company's own resources.
It will allow the Superscape team to focus on our ten top-tier targeted
operators where our focus is both on bringing negotiations to a speedy
conclusion and on actively managing these accounts to ensure that our games are
always positioned with these top ten operators to maximize revenue potential for
Superscape."

The first Superscape titles available through the new partnership will start to
be distributed immediately. The games will be available in a wide range of
languages including French, German, Spanish, Czech and Portuguese.

Kevin Roberts concluded: "I am very pleased with our progress to date on
signing agreements with network operators. We have already signed direct or
indirect agreements with four of the top ten targeted operators. Verizon was
the first announced on April 29th and Superscape currently has multiple games
generating thousands of royalty bearing downloads, over the air, on the Verizon
network today. Our second partnership agreement announced on June 29th will
bring Superscape mobile games to the China Mobile network in August 2004. The
third agreement was announced on July 5th with an unnamed top tier global
operator who will be identified when Superscape's games are launched on their
network. A fourth partnership, announced on July 6th, will bring our games to
another of the ten top tier operators."

Opinion, what other company listed on the LSE is signing deals this big with major players at such a rate, three in three days, there is only one way. By the way, thanks Shares for supporting SPS, it did help my deciscion to buy a while ago, IC sucks, they got this one completely wrong (but not NXT though).

Another good day for SPS holders (which includes me). Counters the paper loss of CYH to a degree.

hlyeo98 - 07 Jul 2004 20:46 - 150 of 707

More uptrend on the way. Buy to keep!

skids - 07 Jul 2004 22:12 - 151 of 707

Agreed. The true market cap is yet to be realised.

willfagg - 07 Jul 2004 23:23 - 152 of 707

Like i said yesterday, i think the potential of this share is huge.Their scope is worldwide and as we have seen in the contracts they have already signed, some of this is already "in the bag". If vodofone come out in the next few weeks confirming they are on board I think the true magnitude of this shares potential will start to sink in.After the dissappointment of Cybit this is quite exciting

ehall - 08 Jul 2004 08:02 - 153 of 707

Will, Vod was the deal signed earleir, see my previous post, KR points to the number one of his top ten operator targets, this is VOD but will be confirmed when VOD stick the games up for sale, by the end of the month probably. We should nab the other 6 now over the next couple of months which will provide further impetus and as shares said this morning, the momentum is growing, it is a buy!

willfagg - 08 Jul 2004 08:23 - 154 of 707

Thanks for that confirmation ehall.I think I will have have a cold shower on this one or I may lose my objective reasoning!

skids - 08 Jul 2004 09:41 - 155 of 707

Guys,

I have just bought a Sony Ericsson K700i from Vodafone and 2 of the games are 3D, haven't yet been able to confirm it yet, but I would say they use Swerve!

skids - 08 Jul 2004 11:32 - 156 of 707

Mentioned in todays Shares Mag as a BUY recommendation. Interestingly Comdirect's analysis has shown a BUY rating for the last 5 weeks (prior to the RNS). With 4 out of 10 mobile operators signed it'll be interesting to see how quickly the rest wise up to Swerve.

ehall - 08 Jul 2004 13:37 - 157 of 707

Skids, I thought Sony Erricsson was the only one not using swerve, also, the boards, here and on ample have forgotten about the other operators outside of the top 5, we should here some announcements soon with regards to further swerve take up now that the games are starting to hit the shelves. Can anyone find out figures on the 2d games sales?

skids - 08 Jul 2004 16:26 - 158 of 707

ehall,

I've checked and it appears the k700i doesn't have the Swerve in it, but Sony Ericsson are shipping 3D games now. Plus all of the menu options are now in 3d!

All these latest deals announced and a drop in price + wide spread!!! Is some after stock?

MORE NONSENSE FROM THE Mm'S. Buys outpace sells by a significant amount. All its doing is attracting investors who are getting cheap shares. Still I feel sure there will be more announcements to come as they sign up other top ten providers for their games. I see Voda were advertising mobile games on SKY at the weekend. Any one know if this is connected with Swerve technology?

mg - 13 Jul 2004 16:46 - 161 of 707

I think the drop is probably linked to the IC's "high enough" comment last week. People locking in profits - perfectly reasonable after a 30+% increase over the last few weeks. But, they'll probably regret it if there are further announcements - as there will inevitably be. After all they've only confirmed 4 out of the top ten targets. At least 6 more to come ;)

momentum - 13 Jul 2004 16:57 - 162 of 707

Willfagg dont forget the buys are coming in at the lower price. Has been very little buying above 40p.

SUPERSCAPE PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT BRINGS GAMES TO 5TH NETWORK OPERATOR ON LIST OF
TOP TEN TARGETED OPERATORS

Tuesday 3rd August 2004, Hook, Hampshire, UK: Superscape Group plc (LSE: SPS),
the leader in revolutionary entertainment for mobile phones, announces a
partnership to bring its games to the fifth of the company's top ten targeted
network operators. The games will be available on the new network over the
course of the next few weeks.

Kevin Roberts, CEO, Superscape Group plc said: 'This is an important win for
Superscape as we continue our focus on signing agreements and partnerships to
distribute our games on all top ten targeted operators. The total number of
subscribers being served, by the combination of our top ten targeted operators
and Superscape's partnership strategy covering an additional sixty plus
operators, is over one billion subscribers worldwide.

Roberts continued, ' Global wireless gaming revenue was approximately $1.1
billion in 2003 and is expected to grow to $8.4 billion in 2008. Wireless
carriers are increasingly launching and promoting wireless entertainment
applications to differentiate their services and drive revenues. Superscape is
ideally positioned, through its approved industry-standard technology and
portfolio of high-profile branded mobile games, to have a clear first to market
advantage in the 3D mobile gaming market.'

Will this news now give the MM's confidence to raise the SP

willfagg - 20 Aug 2004 13:56 - 164 of 707

OK somebody explain how they release reatedly good news siging 5 agreements and the share price is now less that before they made any announcements? Perhaps they should issue a profit warning to get the price moving upwards?????today is full of blue consequently the price is down.........Yes you have guessed I am pXXXX off with some of the nonsense taht goes on
I feel better for that

ehall - 20 Aug 2004 17:57 - 165 of 707

Buy some more then, EVO says a price target of 42p, I'm sure this is the sicth operator they've signed, possibly one is outside of the top ten. Expect continous news over the next four months with confirmations of further manufacturer deals, the other 9 operators not yet signed, confirmation of the six already signed, further game deals, handset deals etc. Can you afford not to be in it. Does anyone know how much they get for a game on an embedded phone, with this info it should be pretty easy to generate expected baseline revenues, I think EVO's are way to small given the growth in the industry as a whole.
