CMS Webview What is the potential for this share ? (CWV)

GEOFFREY.R - 01 Nov 2003 16:46

I bought shares in this company at 4.5p in September 2003. I see they are rising. Can anyone tell me please the growth potential for this company as they have just been awarded several new contracts ?

Thank you for this link. I have just listened to the interview. Certainly looks very promising. Definately worth holding as a long term investment.

AndrewThomson77 - 08 May 2004 13:26 - 1470 of 1924

That's a very interesting interview. He talked a lot of sense, although most of the detail has already been discussed on this board before.

POST 1462 from TSQ - I wonder if the start of its journey will be on the 20th May 2004 when there is the Exhibition where hopefully CWV will be able to show just what products it has got available to the mass marketers who will have a real interest in real tiime data. Any additional contracts gained thro this exhibition may kick starts this companies growth. It is well rated, well supported, has a great product which has even aroused the interest of the Americans. The cms web page linked to:-
http://www.wallstreetreporter.com/profiles/CMSWebview.html
is well worth reading. Good luck.

This is the platform for CWV to launch itself into top gear - maybe -hopefully?

Just logged on again, as I had got a little bored of the "stating the obvious" business of a drifting small-cap price on no news.

Bob Antell's interview is very informative and a gem in terms of my confidence in my investment.

It's obvious from his tone and style that he knows where he wants CWV to go. I wouldn't rule out a NASDAQ quote in the fullness of time, particularly if further US sales are produced.

The current valuation is quite literally "for nothing"! A joke. Superb opportunity for long term investors.

momentum - 10 May 2004 23:08 - 1474 of 1924

Could someone please buy a share so i that i can see the true offer now that the bid is at 7.5p. LOL
Imho i thought 6p and 4p targets were a little to bearish, but looking at the general trend in the markets and the summer period these targets are looking more and more acheivable. Statusquo your valuation " for nothing " a joke. You will know doubt be proved right "IF " the management perform as well as they think they will. However the price is likely to get a lot " funnier "

bloodhound - 10 May 2004 23:24 - 1475 of 1924

MM's are manipulating this share on thin volume.

MM 25k trade at 4.29pm. With all the sells today KBC Peel Hunt were alone on the
bid so we can assume that no other MM took in stock and felt the need to off load stock. Just manipulation from Winterflood Securities, with my average price
of 13.5p the short term price does not bother me.

happy to watch - 11 May 2004 11:44 - 1476 of 1924

It might have a long way to go down yet according to commentary on some of the boards, there again it might not. I think it is at about the right price given the lack of news and sales progress update. On that basis I'm back in with 2 x 25k trades this morning @ 8.1p.

momentum - 11 May 2004 17:09 - 1477 of 1924

Bid / offer in the market is approx 7.7p - 8.2p. Taking mid under 8p. Price now 20% cheaper than placing. MMs are not manipulating price, trying to create a market.Price will be moved lower and lower until volume buyers are prepared to come back in. They have know reason to move the price up when there are no buyers at existing levels. I get the feeling not all is as rosy as it might appear at present.

CBOT chooses CMS WebView plcs TDI to enhance the distribution of Dow Jones Indexes market data
11th May 2004
The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT), as exclusive distributor of Dow Jones Indexes market data, has chosen CMS WebViews TDI software to enable Dow Jones Indexes to initiate enhancements to its data throughput.

This is the latest commission CMS has secured with the CBOT, one of the worlds leading futures exchanges. In April 2003, CMS was commissioned to install TDI as part of a much larger software infrastructure project. The CBOTs new market-data feed developed using TDI went live successfully in January 2004.

TDI is a modular suite of software that is used to collect, process and redistribute vast tracts of real-time financial data. Since its adoption by prestigious financial institutions such as the CBOT, the London Metal Exchange and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, it has become industry-standard software for the distribution of financial-market data.

The benefits to customers of TDI include its wide range of proven input and output interfaces, together with inbuilt network resilience and significant data-flow capabilities.

Bob Antell, CEO of CMS WebView plc, said:

"The beauty of our TDI software is that, because it is modular, it can be used to provide single or multiple solutions. This new work from the Chicago Board of Trade is an example of TDI being used for a single purpose, in this instance to enhance the distribution and throughput of Dow Jones Indexes data. This latest TDI order shows the CBOTs satisfaction with our software, and with the service and support we provide."

A new TDI contract. No one interested.

Biscuit - 12 May 2004 11:10 - 1480 of 1924

I noticed that. Is it that no one has actually realised, when was it announced to the city?

bloodhound - 12 May 2004 11:20 - 1481 of 1924

It has been on the CMS website and also on Finextra

Biscuit - 12 May 2004 11:44 - 1482 of 1924

I saw it on the CMS website, when you look on here though (MoneyAM) nothing shows up?? You'd think they'd want people to know?

Biscuit/Bloodhound,

This is a PR release which is not covered by our RNS feed - hence the fact that it did not appear on the site.

IanT

Thanks, could you put a link on the home page.

Biscuit - 12 May 2004 13:25 - 1486 of 1924

Cheers Ian T, that clears it up then.

bloodhound - 14 May 2004 13:20 - 1487 of 1924

If CMS has earnings of 3p for 2005 and is on a pe of 20 the share will have to
rise an average of 2.25p per month. Sounds good to me.

momentum - 14 May 2004 13:57 - 1488 of 1924

Bloodhound cms are going to have to announce quite a few more TDI contacts to acheive this figure. And at this rate well be lucky to be in profit. Its been nearly 14 months since the last significant contract.Although i beleive long term they will acheive profitability, it could well be many years a lot longer than we anticipate. The market fully expected further contracts to have been signed by now, why are they not coming through, well perhaps other exchanges are happy with there present suppliers and upgrading their software. Its going to be very tough to get exchanges to switch. I am now fully invested and will be prepared to give them until the end of 2004 to start delivering on new contracts. This will then be almost 2 years since CBOT contract.IF TDI is that good then i would have expected another contract to have been delivered within 2 years.
