Superscape was founded nearly twenty years ago, and has been dedicated throughout its history to the development of ground-breaking software technology for the creation and delivery of innovative, high quality interactive 3D applications.
Over the years, Superscape has amassed unparalleled expertise and experience in the development of 3D software capable of working within the constraints of limited memory devices, slow processor speeds and strictly controlled file sizes.
Drawing on this knowledge, Superscape has established a world-leading position in the development of industry-standard 3D technology and applications for mobile devices. The company's Swerve technology has been developed specifically for wireless environments in close collaboration with ARM, and comprises a 3D engine (Swerve Client), authoring tools (Swerve Studio) and a broad portfolio of 3D content, with particular emphasis on 3D games. Swerve is being adopted on a global basis by many of the mobile industry's leading players, together with world-renowned content and brand organisations.
Superscape has corporate headquarters in Hook, Hampshire (UK) and San Clemente, California (USA) with regional offices in Tokyo and Sydney. The company is quoted on the London Stock Exchange (LSE: SPS).
Superscape (SPS) has received various tips in the press and by Analysts recently which will certainly give impetous to the share price. Indicators are looking good with the RSI rising off an oversold position and the MACD crossing showing BULLISH signs for the stock.
The mobile gaming market is still in it's infancy but the projected revenue is enormous. Mobile operators are looking at tapping the Gameboy market as they feel that users will not want to carry around a multitude of technology and if they have a mobile phone which can double as a gaming station than people will prefer this option.
People should also look at the recent contracts which SPS have signed for their technology. This is a technology company which could well be a great success in 2004.

Like i said yesterday, i think the potential of this share is huge.Their scope is worldwide and as we have seen in the contracts they have already signed, some of this is already "in the bag". If vodofone come out in the next few weeks confirming they are on board I think the true magnitude of this shares potential will start to sink in.After the dissappointment of Cybit this is quite exciting

Will, Vod was the deal signed earleir, see my previous post, KR points to the number one of his top ten operator targets, this is VOD but will be confirmed when VOD stick the games up for sale, by the end of the month probably. We should nab the other 6 now over the next couple of months which will provide further impetus and as shares said this morning, the momentum is growing, it is a buy!

Guys,
I have just bought a Sony Ericsson K700i from Vodafone and 2 of the games are 3D, haven't yet been able to confirm it yet, but I would say they use Swerve!

Mentioned in todays Shares Mag as a BUY recommendation. Interestingly Comdirect's analysis has shown a BUY rating for the last 5 weeks (prior to the RNS). With 4 out of 10 mobile operators signed it'll be interesting to see how quickly the rest wise up to Swerve.

Skids, I thought Sony Erricsson was the only one not using swerve, also, the boards, here and on ample have forgotten about the other operators outside of the top 5, we should here some announcements soon with regards to further swerve take up now that the games are starting to hit the shelves. Can anyone find out figures on the 2d games sales?

ehall,
I've checked and it appears the k700i doesn't have the Swerve in it, but Sony Ericsson are shipping 3D games now. Plus all of the menu options are now in 3d!

MORE NONSENSE FROM THE Mm'S. Buys outpace sells by a significant amount. All its doing is attracting investors who are getting cheap shares. Still I feel sure there will be more announcements to come as they sign up other top ten providers for their games. I see Voda were advertising mobile games on SKY at the weekend. Any one know if this is connected with Swerve technology?

I think the drop is probably linked to the IC's "high enough" comment last week. People locking in profits - perfectly reasonable after a 30+% increase over the last few weeks. But, they'll probably regret it if there are further announcements - as there will inevitably be. After all they've only confirmed 4 out of the top ten targets. At least 6 more to come ;)

More excellent good news from SPS with the 5th targeted 'Top Ten' global Network Operator signed!
Superscape Group PLC

3 August 2004
SUPERSCAPE PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT BRINGS GAMES TO 5TH NETWORK OPERATOR ON LIST OF
TOP TEN TARGETED OPERATORS
Tuesday 3rd August 2004, Hook, Hampshire, UK: Superscape Group plc (LSE: SPS),
the leader in revolutionary entertainment for mobile phones, announces a
partnership to bring its games to the fifth of the company's top ten targeted
network operators. The games will be available on the new network over the
course of the next few weeks.
Kevin Roberts, CEO, Superscape Group plc said: 'This is an important win for
Superscape as we continue our focus on signing agreements and partnerships to
distribute our games on all top ten targeted operators. The total number of
subscribers being served, by the combination of our top ten targeted operators
and Superscape's partnership strategy covering an additional sixty plus
operators, is over one billion subscribers worldwide.
Roberts continued, ' Global wireless gaming revenue was approximately $1.1
billion in 2003 and is expected to grow to $8.4 billion in 2008. Wireless
carriers are increasingly launching and promoting wireless entertainment
applications to differentiate their services and drive revenues. Superscape is
ideally positioned, through its approved industry-standard technology and
portfolio of high-profile branded mobile games, to have a clear first to market
advantage in the 3D mobile gaming market.'

Buy some more then, EVO says a price target of 42p, I'm sure this is the sicth operator they've signed, possibly one is outside of the top ten. Expect continous news over the next four months with confirmations of further manufacturer deals, the other 9 operators not yet signed, confirmation of the six already signed, further game deals, handset deals etc. Can you afford not to be in it. Does anyone know how much they get for a game on an embedded phone, with this info it should be pretty easy to generate expected baseline revenues, I think EVO's are way to small given the growth in the industry as a whole.

Superscape Group plc (LSE: SPS), leaders in revolutionary entertainment for
mobile phones, announces win number seven on its targeted top fifteen list of
network operators. Superscape mobile games, through both direct and indirect
distribution agreements, are now becoming available on sixty-seven networks
serving consumers in North and South America, Europe, Asia and Australia. The
company's portfolio of games numbers twenty-five 3D and sixteen 2D titles either
completed or under development, with new high-profile brands being added every
quarter.
Kevin Roberts, CEO, Superscape Group plc said: 'This new European operator
network distribution agreement is a significant win for Superscape. The more
network operators we sign up, the more Superscape games we publish and the more
consumers able to download our games, the more royalty revenues we will
generate. Now that our games are becoming available on a number of networks
around the world, the revenues from every single game downloaded by every single
consumer are beginning to flow for Superscape.'
Revenue generated from mobile gaming in 2003 was $ 1.1b globally and is forecast
to grow to $8b by 2007.
Roberts continued: 'This is the mass-market opportunity for Superscape. The
top tier network operators represent approximately 80% of the global mobile
gaming revenue. The number of agreements we have with these operators to date
is a clear endorsement of their enthusiasm for Superscape's portfolio of high
profile IP games and their appreciation of the significant contribution these
will make to driving new revenue streams.'
Superscape's four quadrants focus which sees it reaching agreements with
additional network operators, handset manufacturers, technology companies and
leading entertainment organisations is well on track, according to Roberts, and
further announcements will be made over the course of the next weeks
Comment: This company has announced more deals recently than any other company of its size on the market with nerarly half of the worlds largest phone network companies signed up and the market just hasn't given it any credit. Tthe games are going live about now including the far greater than expected number of 2d games. If any one of these sells then revenues will be far greater than the market was ever going to predict! Work it out, a market of $8bn by 2007 and SPS is the only company selling games through a minimum of 7 of the world top 15 network comapnies.

I couldnt agree with you more, I was just picking up the thread to make a similar comment . The price is now the same as before any of the announcements on signing up seven out of the top fifteen network operators.I thought the potential for this share was amazing , and still do....another ASOS? I reckon

PS I believe the real lift off weill come when SPS start reporting they are converting these agreements into revenue and profits increases. I guess until then the market will view comments as partially hype.
