CMS Webview What is the potential for this share ? (CWV)

GEOFFREY.R - 01 Nov 2003 16:46

I bought shares in this company at 4.5p in September 2003. I see they are rising. Can anyone tell me please the growth potential for this company as they have just been awarded several new contracts ?

SueHelen - 20 May 2004 15:50 - 1507 of 1924

Hi littlejon, I stated in January that I had sold out from these due to lack on news on the TDI front. In addition, other stocks were looking more attractive as market conditions changed with the IRAQ, Oil, US/China economies situation. I am waiting for the first contract to come through then I will buy back in.

This stock does need news and pretty fast, that is what has caused the price to drift down.

When I tipped these in November, the market was so different and better to what it is now.

Offer in the market a tad under 8p. Bid being taken down to 7p.This is occuring every day, expect 7-8 by w/e.

littlejon - 20 May 2004 17:33 - 1509 of 1924

Thanks suehelen for the reply, I am still holding and unfortunately did not sell any of my holdings when I was in a small profit, however as time goes by Im not so apprehensive about the slow decline in value, and but them to the back of my mind knowing that fundamentals to this company seem great????

As a company do you feel that if TDIs come off this year that this stock could reach the sort of potential estimated by investors during the run up to xmas.

Thanks for your reply & hope to here from you soon

Good luck all holders

littlejon,

Go to the companys' website www.cms.co.uk, if you haven't done so already. Read the investor news section to get a feel for what this company has been doing for the last year.

The hype in the share price that was created in November has gradually been unwound. The market tends to do too much on the upside, but equally over punishes on the downside. Picking up good companies against the crowd can ultimately be a better wealth builder.

This stock is now pregnant with potential, and IMHO ready to move higher on new contracts. I am very confident these will come. Everything up to January 04 was product development for this company. Everything from here on is sales growth/marketing.

At the current market cap of ~6mio, and a TDI contract & support package worth 750k-1mio, the upside with increased sales will be huge. This takes no account of CMS other revenues streams.

Mid brought down to 6.75p, offer at 7p. intra day. Look for further weakness this week. The downtrend has truly set in, rate of decline increasing. Good news required soon to stop the rot. Investors are waiting for news on TDI and if cms do not deliver.SP imho will move back to 4p. Long term very tempting to buy more, however i beleive they will get a lot cheaper. Boy am i glad i wasnt involved in the placing. Company brokers put out a buy recomendation at 14p with a price target of 18p, price is now 7p and falling.???????? not good.

momentum - 25 May 2004 16:16 - 1512 of 1924

Looking at possible support levels, today we had an intra day low of 6.25p.This was the top of the spike up on 28/10/03 from 3.25-6.25p when cms announced 12 new prophet contracts.SP over the next week continued down to find minor support at 4.25p, before the rally initiated by the SM comment. A close below 6.25p will setup a test of 4.25p.However 4.25p would probably not have held back in OCT if not for the SM article. Strong support imho is at 3.25p which held for a longer period prior to the 28/10 spike.Sorry for the bearishness but its not lookig good short term even though it is due a technical bounce ( oversold).SP has now not had a blue day for 21 days.

Sucks dosn't it !

momentum - 25 May 2004 20:10 - 1514 of 1924

Thats 21 trading days, now if thats not telling you something. 32.5% below placing price. Management need to put a halt under this slide, investors have long memories espescially when it loses them money.

Biscuit - 26 May 2004 10:48 - 1515 of 1924

IMHO I wouldn't worry too much about the price drop, it just gives better buying opportunities. At the end of the day the same opportunities are still there and there's still money in the bank. Long term investment at the minute.

skyhigh - 26 May 2004 11:03 - 1516 of 1924

That takes the Biscuit ! .... agree with what you say though. :) keep smiling, even though most small cap/ aim shares have taken a hammering over the past few months. !

momentum - 26 May 2004 11:19 - 1517 of 1924

There is no real support at 6.75p, and looking at todays trades so far ( hardly worth mentioning) price will move lower by the w/e.

momentum - 26 May 2004 11:55 - 1518 of 1924

6.0-6.9p in the market down 0.3p

beaufort1 - 28 May 2004 11:18 - 1519 of 1924

Well strike a light, CWV's gone blue! I almost fell off my chair. (Ticked up to 7p).

beaufort1 - 28 May 2004 13:28 - 1520 of 1924

Nice little bit of buying today - price has ticked up again to 7.25p. Volumes very modest.

happy to watch - 28 May 2004 13:36 - 1521 of 1924

Interesting to see the share price has lifted slightly today, about time too.

Been quietly building up a reasonable holding over the last couple of weeks (500k holding as of yesterday), will be topping up again over next couple weeks if it continues to hover around these levels. It's one of my tips for the year, good news is not far away and it would be a shame to miss out on the fun.

DYOR - This is a medium to long term play.

goal - 28 May 2004 14:29 - 1522 of 1924

Longer the stronger, I agree with you happy. Should be a good year.

beaufort1 - 28 May 2004 15:24 - 1523 of 1924

Now up 25%! I wish I knew why.

What do you read into todays trading?

thestatusquo - 28 May 2004 16:52 - 1525 of 1924

Cheap as chips chaps! It's nice to pick up a great wee stock on the cheap.

Several days of a rising share price will shake out some more bears looking to bail out.

I'm polishing my nest egg and sitting very tight. Investing in these microcaps is all about patience. The contracts will come, both here and in the USA. ProphetX will deliver in UK and Europe, and yes, I also firmly believe this company has the contacts to crack the banking sector.

With investment banks, Reuters, Bloomberg and Dow Jones as potential customers, you've got to be confident about a brighter future.
