welcome back choccie, how was it?

chocolat - 01 Oct 2004 23:10 - 15132 of 23498

Good to meet up with new faces, jeffie - I nearly didn't get there, as someone went to work this morning with my car-keys in his pocket...the only reason I'm home first is because I need an early start tomorrow - if I'd stayed for dinner tonight (which was already running late) I'd never have got home at all, everyone else was staying over! It was most enjoyable...and err, jj and amberj are still there!!

Socrates - 02 Oct 2004 08:26 - 15133 of 23498

Good morning. Nice cuppa to start the day.

Fundamentalist - 02 Oct 2004 08:58 - 15134 of 23498

Morning all

Just been for a nice long walk with the dog.

Jeff - thanks for your comments!!! still no news re: the house will find out monday but not too expectant

Socrates - 02 Oct 2004 10:13 - 15135 of 23498

Looks like another quiet weekend. Good morning Fundy, hope the neck is OK. Just been out to make my weekly contribution to the lottery fund and put puss in the Stalag Luft Katz for a week.

Just making a pot of tea, anybody interested, chocolate digestives for the first person to answer.

Priscilla - 02 Oct 2004 10:41 - 15136 of 23498

Hello Socks! Can I claim my chocolate biscuit, please?

Socrates - 02 Oct 2004 10:59 - 15137 of 23498

Priscilla
Note my post did not say "a chocolate digestive". I'll have ten tonnes delivered to your doorstep, I don't do things by halves, you ought to know that by now.

Joking apart, how are you? DYS did nicely, bit more advance would be very encouraging.

I'm having a fun morning, just posted on the other BB PTG thread and I just know it will drive some over there absolutely doolally. Nothing really contentious, but PTG followers can be a funny lot, you only have to look at Jeffmack as an example. (Just joshing Jeffmack). LOL

stockbunny - 02 Oct 2004 11:12 - 15138 of 23498

Morning a brief visit from the Bunny today - hope everyone is having
a good weekend :>)

Poochy has asked me to look after the tea-rooms whilst he's away,
it is quite possible he had had too many Bods when he did but there
you go!! LOL

OK I have gone through the suggestion box on the bar and considered
the contents and have the following replies on behalf of The Management:
Suggestions that WONT be taken on board are:
A red light on the cellar trap door and installation of 'booths',
Jordan look-a-likes behind the bar,
A Join The Male Liberation Front poster for the wall,
and the most shocking one of all permanent Sky Sports on the TV in
the bar.

Please feel free to continue to submit your 'ideas' Thank you.
;>)

brockman - 02 Oct 2004 11:31 - 15139 of 23498

Pole dancing is fine :o)

Socrates - 02 Oct 2004 11:34 - 15140 of 23498

Do poles dance?

brockman - 02 Oct 2004 11:37 - 15141 of 23498

Such innocence Soc's xxx

This_is_me - 02 Oct 2004 11:46 - 15142 of 23498

Eldest daughter's hair clogging up the mouse again. Do I shut down the computer to deal with it or risk accidental deleting something important by fiddling with the mouse with the computer on?

jeffmack - 02 Oct 2004 11:55 - 15143 of 23498

TIM
Questions and dilemas

Socs is very jovial today, and good morning to all. Just finished a bit of bricklaying before it started raining.

This_is_me - 02 Oct 2004 12:03 - 15144 of 23498

Jeff - no professional IT advice?!

brockman - 02 Oct 2004 12:15 - 15145 of 23498

Yes Jeff, have you no technical advice? Complicated stuff.. cleaning up a mouse.. ;o)

Socrates - 02 Oct 2004 12:33 - 15146 of 23498

Jovial, that's me.

Mouse, switch off just to be sure if you are worried, but I've never had a problem. Long term answer, get yourself an optical mouse, no problems then.

I feel peckish, I think I'll scoff a tin of baked beans.

jeffmack - 02 Oct 2004 13:36 - 15147 of 23498

If I need a new mouse I get one from work, no need for cleaning.

optomistic - 02 Oct 2004 18:55 - 15148 of 23498

Nice and tidy in here, not surprising as no one has been in after Socs, and I'm sure he is not a messy person, even though he likes sherry trifle baths, especially if someone else is at the other end of the bath :-)) Just have a cup of tea and a few minutes, see if anyone else is about.

jeffmack - 02 Oct 2004 19:41 - 15149 of 23498

just you me and the guiness eh opto

Greystone - 02 Oct 2004 20:15 - 15150 of 23498

chocolat - Good to see you made it back safely. Great to meet up with you. :-)
