0.30-0.40 pence...a tick down on the offer on a 500K sell at 0.32 pence. Level 2 is at 1 v 1....Good price for anyone looking to buy.....remembering MMs charged 300,000 shares 0.50 pence.
0.40 pence on the offer could be a spoof again !!!

Hi Balli...hence I said the 0.40 pence pence offer is a spoof again...MMs trying to accumulate shares before these start rocketing.

Best way is to ring your broker IMHO....strike lucky and may be able to get a higher quantity.

SueHelen, after reading the interim and prelims the directors state clearly the sale of all assets will generate circa 400K pounds and they also say its taking longer than expected. I cannot see there being a sudden surprise increase in value (the directors state the 400K left over is after clearing all debts related to the enterprise so the sales value may be higher but after paying debts in SA they will be left with around 400K).
400K cash shell with the present amount of shares in issue, where is the upside ? If they are going to reverse into someone else then its good for the other but not for DMR holders I think. Am I missing something as taken a look at this now out of interest but cannot see where the upside is. BSP was/is obvious but not so on DMR in my opinion.

BSP was not obvious at the 0.30 pence level last November PapalPower....I was the only posting on the thread at the time.
Enough good research already posted on this thread. DYOR as Always though.
Likewise here
All the below to look forward to:
a) Level of cash raised confirmed within the next week or week after. between 300 - 600k
b) Target company announced along with financing option November
c) EGM set to agree take-over/injection December
d) Aquisition completed - January

Re: the below...the company will find some value down the line...can you imagine the share price then.
What has DMR done with 16m of stone deposits and 1.3m current assets - good question....I'm guessing as the stone business tangible assets have been 'sold' the carrying value of the stone deposits has been written down to 0 as why have a stone asset listed when it cannot be extracted. Just guessing but I'd suggest they'll find some value in it somehow further down the line....

Well as a de facto cash shell they have to do something before April or just return the money to shareholders, and that would only be around 0.2p per share max, so if they are planning to do something then your timescales would be around correct.
Financing, whichever way with the present price it will be a struggle and a wipe out for DMR holders do you not think ? They are not UK registered so they can do whatever they want on takeovers and how to fund it.
Not convinced at the moment, will keep watching for developments.

The stone assets would be sold with all other assets, they are very unclear on what is to be sold off (just say everything) and what is to be paid off with those proceeds, all they say is that after selling everything and paying off everything they think they can transfer back 400K.

Fair enough PapalPower.
Thanks for your input.

Selling everything does not include the stone deposits.

It is an interesting story and worth keeping an eye on to see what happens, just in case it does turn for the good and up.

It does as it says the Groups SA assets will be reliased and after paying the bills they hope 400K back, the assets are everything, including the stone, everything to be sold off is what they say.
Dimension Resources Ld

Dimension Resources Limited
Chairman's Statement
Year Ended 31 December 2004
I regret to report that the Group's activities, which comprised the quarrying
and processing of dimension stone, ceased in December 2004. Arrangements have been made for the Group's South African assets to be realised, the local
creditors to be paid and the balance to be remitted back to the United Kingdom.
Following these realisations, the directors have been advised that the Company
will receive approximately 400,000, which is broadly in accordance with the
current share price.

That same statement also says this, which would be a concern;
For the future the Directors are examining new projects to be injected into the
Company. When a suitable project is identified it is likely that the acquisition
will constitute a reverse acquisition and will require a new Admission Document
and shareholder approval. In this context, however, the Company, as a company registered in Bermuda and managed outside the United Kingdom, is not subject to the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers. In principle the Directors favour a project in the natural resources sector in Africa, but any project with the
potential to restore value for shareholders will be considered.

But will watch with interest in case there are some twists and turns as you suspect and something happens that is positive and could boost the SP.

Very encouraged to see MMs taking in 1.10 million in sells today at the 0.30 pence price. That has not happened before and more surprising check the online buy limit at a few instances today which remained at just 75,000 shares.
Nice to see the sellers out....looking forward to more rises and possible news next week.
Have a good weekend all.

Hi Balli again, Your 75,000 buy did come through at 0.39 pence. Trades over 18,000 shares are delayed in reporting by 1 hour. Normal Market Size is 3,000 * 6 = 18,000.

Level 2 closed at 1 v 1 on Friday at 0.30 - 0.40 pence.
Good price for anyone looking to buy.....remembering MMs charged someone 300,000 shares 0.50 pence on Wednesday. Though online max buy limit is still only 75,000 shares.
The market makers took in 1.10 million in sells at 0.30 pence on Friday and they took 750,000 in sells at 0.30 pence earlier in the week. Bodes well for next leg-up. Over the week there were more sells than buys....the price opened the week at 0.20-0.35 pence and closed at 0.30-0.40 pence.
0.40 pence on the offer could be a spoof again IMHO!!!
