Ahhhhh, so it is one person with several names posting about the website. Thought so. I suggest you buy shares in Amazon.com if it's a website company you'd like.

NO Biscuit i have one name have always posted as one person have held seo shares since 3.5p and have always made that clear i am in for the long run but these people cannot organise a simple website and i think they should do so, if you do not fine but pls do not get defensive, we disagree so be it.

To be fair about websites, I have just developed a crap one for a business I am a partner in (if you want to know how crap, click on my greenhouse).
The point is that having the site is usually a precursor. You must have it up and running for about 3 months before it will be properly picked up by the crawlers and appear listed on a search. We put the site on long before it is ready, so that the readiness and the time the crawlers pick it up come together, otherwise we would spend ages developing a site, for it not to be reachable by a simple search.
I would sooner our site was visited and people say it is poor than delay its launch by about 3 months so that it was perfect from the start.

My god, you're right, I never thought of dial-up internet customers wanting to log on to their website. How many Greanseal sales lost?? I must sell my shares, this company will never get anywhere, reason: annoyed dial-up users. Class, I couldn't have made that one up!

biscuit, you arrogant prick. the web site is a shop window. it's been up and running a few years now and any problems should have been sorted out. i agree that it isn't the most pressing of problems for seo at the moment , but , as people have pointed out, interested parties will look at the seo website for further information about the company. if you are looking to deal with a competent , professional outfit then you would expect their website to reflect that. this is the modern world and it has become the norm for companies to have working, attractive websites to stimulate interest and sales. this is something that should have been taken care of a long time ago. it isn't the first time the crapness of the seo website has been brought up.

Getting tired of SEO's little deals with other companies that have been going on for about a year now. Remember training US engineers to achieve rapid roll out in the States? At this pace they will have retired before they are called upon. Anyone got a copy of John Cleese's " How to close a deal"? If so plse forward to SEO management team.

I keep getting tips to invest in this stock but for the life of me can't see why it is so hotly tipped and attracts so much attention. Is this company on the verge of turning enormous losses into a profit? If so, it doesn't look that way from anything that I have read. Before I get called a p***k, I am not an expert and only asking!

lukeman,
The losses are not that big and the potential upside is truely huge!!!
Names like Walmart, McDonalds and Pepsi are linked to this company as potential customers. Wal mart are already in discussion, so yes, the company may be on the verge of profit.
As always, its a risk and DYOR, but a good place to start is Drivers research page (link in the header).

The trick is to get in early, higher risk but higher reward. With just 500 this gets you a lot of shares at the moment, you can add later if good progress is made.

a colleague of mine sold 650,000 today which he bought ahead of the results, which has caused the slight drop. CEO back this week from the US so should bring news of the wal mart deal and further discussions with macdonalds.

Hi all,
I agree with all who say the website is important, so much so that I contacted SEO about it around October I think and offered to update the site for free. I was told thanks but they had two people working on it....
It would take someone just a few hours to tidy up the dead links, wrong info etc and that was what I offered to do.
I agree they do not have to spend tens of thousands as they are not an E-Commerce site but with all the PR they have had with a link back to SEO you would just think that all the information should be easily accessible and at least look semi professional. You have to make your website work for you.
hewittalan6, had a look at your website, it is not crap! it looks professional and does the job, the only thing I would say is that using Flash does have it's limitations when it comes to promoting the site via Search Engines.
Anyways, I am still confident in SEO but just get frustrated from time to time. I still topped up last week though :)

Agree with DaZSEO and more important Bosley, think he sums the situation up perfectly, and it is a poor reflection on the company and is easy and quick to sort out, but bit like the converting the low hanging fruit that we talk about , both are easy but there seems to be a problem converting.
Here's hoping for a better day tomorrow, I followed the trades on global topic today and there seemed to be as many buyers as sellers, however may see more selling over the next few days, as financial year is coming to a close and people maybe trying to realise losses, hopefully buying back after the 6th

Biscuit I disagree, if they are going to have a website then they should get it right, working, polished and professional looking. Anything else just gives the impression of shabbiness, couldn't care less, it doesn't really matter attitude so how would a potential new customer view their products? It's all about marketing and projecting the right image. If they aint got the time then the should get someone hired PDQ, they are a 100m+ business (for now anyway), they should get it done.

on another subject does anyone know how much corn is req. to make 1t of Starpol and if SEO are going the way of 20t quantities who does the corn sourcing? Or is it all done in some other way with the Starpol manufacturer taking the finished raw materials from another company that does the "corn conversion"? For the quantities of Starpol potentially talked about in future is corn a potential bottleneck?

The USA alone produse a surplus to demand of approx 1 to 2 billion bushells of corn per annum. The raw material is'nt a problem. In fact using it instead of dumping it on the world market can only be a good thing.

no he did not make a profit but could not afford to hold, but i am still in. I am holding my breath for the US update, news on the carclo jv, and further asda/starpol trials, the problems with tooling on the greenseal have now been resolved and both machines will be fully commercialised. SEO are concentrating fully on the US at the moment as it will be significant to gain wal mart and macdonalds as first customers, and as we know from the rns that trials are underway.
