FTSE + FTSE 250 - consider trading (FTSE)

cynic - 20 Oct 2007 12:12

rather than pick out individual stocks to trade, it can often be worthwhile to trade the indices themselves, especially in times of high volatility.

for those so inclined, i attach below charts for FTSE and FTSE 250, though one might equally be tempted to trade Dow or S&P, which is significantly broader in its coverage, or even NASDAQ

for ease of reading, i have attached 1 year and 3 month charts in each instance

Nice gaff, Fishfinger. Just round the corner from Simon Cowell's, I suppose?

But I'm curious to know why the image filename is called 'My pad in rhodes 3.jpg'.

Chris Carson - 09 Oct 2014 17:51 - 16453 of 21973

Just wish instead of up, down, up and down again markets would just sell off and have done with it. Earnings season hopefully will sort it one way or another. If in doubt stay out.
