Not exactly a forecast, Alan, more a leak, which is a little worrying.
The 'forecast' came from a PM1 email over the weekend, I understand. I wonder if the leak is from T & G - if so, this is not a good start to their appointment.
Although this leak is not of a particularly sensitive nature it is indicative that a person or persons is willing to leak information - future leaks may be of a more sensitive nature and may not be shared on the BB's - we have no way of knowing.
I'm taking this up with SEO.
Tony,
Nothing to do with point scoring, more about getting at the truth, and I'm surprised at your post considering your involvement PM1 on FYB last year over the Crown affair, which resulted in his ban. 'forget proving points, being right, better informed etc' - isn't that what debate is, or is this BB purely a notice board to which you pin whatever tripe you like without fear of it being challenged?
I respect the majority of you posts, Tony, but I think you've lost the plot with that one!

Forecast / leak!! Semantics!!
I agree though, Oblo, that any leakage is bad and needs further investigation. Leaky companies do tend to lose the support of the PI, as they feel they are always going to be the very last to know, and if the news was to be bad it would be too late to get out unscathed.
Leaks are also just about inevitable by the time something is signed and sealed as the amount of people involved is huge. Perhaps that is why SEO had a habit of RNSing things that were at a very early stage of negotiation and a long way from being a done deal.
Anyway, best of luck raising the matter with SEO. I doubt it will be taken with the seriousness it should.

Just to clear a wee matter up. Fairs fair was referring to the fact that the post was accurate in its prediction.
On the subject of leaks, if reference to SEO is going to be made, then there is a definite lead in the Whodunnit hunt for the leaker.
This RNS was apparently leaked and then propogated by PM1. Last year there was a long and teasing set of posts about how SEO had discovered a patent that was apparantly not being used and how PM1 had dreamed up an idea for its use as a disposable ciggy filter. A matter of a few weeks later an RNS was announced to that effect.
To my simple logic, either PM1 had the idea, contacted SEO (as he claimed) and they were astonishingly quick to seize on it and offer it to the market in general, or there was a leak then about SEOs plans for the patent that PM1 heard and spread long before SEO were able to give firm news on it.
If this is true then PM1 has some explaining to do about his sources.
I am sure there are many more examples, but that should be enough to require an answer.

I assume this change in broker is SEO preparing for the next stage of its development. Hopefully not too far away now!

You really are a thicko, saying that this appointment would do very little to the share price!!!! The market does not like it because it makes the management look indecisive and dithering. And there are not many other brokers who are going to take on a job for as long as an average Hearts football club manager.

Well Bos, they - T&G - certainly have got a job on their hands this morning. As to why EVO were dropped is an interesting question. Anyone care to venture an opinion?
But, if you've got nerves of steel, there is certainly a bargain to be had - if your belief in the company remains unshaken after this morning's news.

Whole Market badly down this am, as expected after the Dows, and all the other indices showing on Friday, plus all the doom and gloom prophesies in the weekend press. Will be happy if we close level today.

EVO drop,
long story, negatives are mainly
1)secondary support(nobody at the AGM ?)
2)they lost their small cap team
3) a few other things.
End of story

Were you at the AGM and, if you were, did you reveal yoursefl to other bb members?
Summarise the "long story" more than the bullet points above.
Why did they lose their small cap team and to which other broker?
What are the few other things. You can't say that without enlarging on it.
Why do you think that T&G are going to be any different to the others, if at all?
Who have SEO got in the wings if T&G don't work out? They seem to be running out of options now.
Did SEO ditch EVO or did EVO ditch SEO and how do you know the answer to that?
As you appear to be squatting under the boardroom table, you should be able to answer all those questions.

Oily,
That is all the info I was given. SEO ditched EVO for those reasons.
I guess you might get more by contacting the different directors, but I am happy with the one question and the one reply :)

Oily,
JJS is Gary H on ADVFN and both are PM1 - you only have to study the posts to see his hallmarks - The post you refer to is arrogant and misleading and his post above is dismissive of your questions. we've seen it before. It seems to me that someone is getting privileged information and they aren't mature enough to know how to handle it.

I predict that there will be more rain in the north than the south,
that whilst on holiday in america ,i'll put on weight and that there will be more jam tommorrow....
Can't say it's a good thing that this ship leaks, hopefully it's an airship as per regular flight updates from 'captain guide', that way hopefully it's be a long soft landing.
Thankfully I'm still up overall, but until this company releases some proper news
TO EVERYONE, I'll keep my spare cash under the mattress.

What was the exact wording of the question and precisely what was it that caused you to ask the question?
