No CV's arrived yet

Jules - 22 Oct 2004 18:49 - 16648 of 23498

evening everyone. Hope the day has been good. Like Hilary, have been out braving kids activities. Mine, however was warmer than Hil's. Daughter's school had a service at Westminster Abbey. What an experience....was really fantastic. Even forgot about bad stocks whilst there:-)
I have now been informed by my daughter that as she is able to marry at Westminster Abbey (as a girl of the school she goes to), that I had better try and make more money on the market....Oh how little she knows...bless!!!
Am off to nurse the blisters on my feet (after the compulsory Oxford St/Bond St window shop) with an extremely large glass of wine. May be back later for some cafe culture if my better half releses me from duties:-)

jj50 - 22 Oct 2004 19:03 - 16649 of 23498

Evening Jules. Enjoy your glass of wine.

Jeffmack. The CVs will be arriving but you will have to guess who they are really from ........... we are trying out a new guise, it is being called "subtle" :-)) However, I am struggling with Priscilla and the pillow ..

jeffmack - 22 Oct 2004 19:13 - 16650 of 23498

Well dont send them by MAM Mail, as they never arrive. Send them to IWantToWorkForJeff@jeffmack.co.uk

So what happened to Ilovejeffie then? No respondents??
G'devening folks - no kiddies' duties today - things took on more of a funereal nature...just gathering steam now for a night out with a girlie friend.

optomistic - 22 Oct 2004 19:58 - 16658 of 23498

Choccie, you mentioned a name from the past, Vasey> I remember her because she first made me welcome in here. Has she changed her name? Would be interested if she hasn't as to why she stopped posting, seemed quite a lively character.

STORMCALLER - 22 Oct 2004 20:05 - 16659 of 23498

opto,
Good evening, you have a message, if necessary, please feel free to respond,
Might I get you a livener?

optomistic - 22 Oct 2004 20:08 - 16660 of 23498

Stormy, replied. Guiness is always an acceptable drink. Just the one though I have a little work to do. Cheers

chocolat - 22 Oct 2004 20:16 - 16661 of 23498

Opto - sorry to mislead you there - Royston Vasey is where the League of Gentlemen offered special things..

PS Vasey dragged me in here too ;)

optomistic - 22 Oct 2004 20:23 - 16662 of 23498

Choccie, Royston Vasey, never heard of that but to be sure I would be far more interested in where a Leagette of ladies were making special offerings ;-))

Spaceman - 22 Oct 2004 20:44 - 16663 of 23498

STORMCALLER - 22 Oct 2004 20:45 - 16664 of 23498

I had better have another to make up for your lack of effort...

STORMCALLER - 22 Oct 2004 20:46 - 16665 of 23498

Spaceman,
I owe you a beer for your help today, thank you.

STORMCALLER - 22 Oct 2004 21:19 - 16666 of 23498

Time I had a refill to help wash down dinner, but, at the risk of repeating myself, it is Friday, so bubbly it must be!
