Lambykins's Dutch Coffee House - ADULTS ONLY (LAMB)

Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

optomistic - 13 Jul 2007 12:39 - 16875 of 24230

If we are to have a kangaroo in here he must be kept under control!

KEAYDIAN - 13 Jul 2007 12:39 - 16876 of 24230

JS, your kangaroo is in the wet room and I want a quick shower!

Bluelady - 13 Jul 2007 12:42 - 16877 of 24230

Perhaps you can sing this to Bob as you decide which bed to tie him down, the kangaroo Keaydian, not the occupant of the bed.

Tie me kangaroo down sport,
tie me kangaroo down.
Tie me kangaroo down sport,
tie me kangaroo down.

JStratford - 13 Jul 2007 12:49 - 16878 of 24230

Spacie, I'm sure lambykins and Bob will get on fine. He's a nice kangaroo, although he does have a habbit of nibbling his straw hat.

K. It's ok to use the wet room, Bob wont mind.

Socrates - 13 Jul 2007 13:00 - 16879 of 24230

I like kangaroos, but I can't eat a whole one.

ptholden - 13 Jul 2007 13:06 - 16880 of 24230

Socs, golf trolley and chandelier are both in the garage undergoing maintenance, trying to figure out if I can wire the chandelier up to the trolley battery so I can play golf in the dark :S

Bluelady - 13 Jul 2007 13:10 - 16881 of 24230

Ptholden, you seem such a logical person but I can see there is a major flaw in trying to do that even though I have never played golf. The golf trolley is normally not parked close to the golf hole and a chandelier light is not bright enough to enable you to do it.

KEAYDIAN - 13 Jul 2007 13:25 - 16882 of 24230

Lady has a point.

JStratford - 13 Jul 2007 13:28 - 16883 of 24230

Use Bob. He has excellent night vision and can tell you where to hit the ball.

KEAYDIAN - 13 Jul 2007 13:55 - 16884 of 24230

Get out of the wet room, NOOOOOOOOWWW!

(Boing boing boing boing)

Not sure where his off too, bye Bob.

Socrates - 13 Jul 2007 14:01 - 16885 of 24230

Ptholden
The big question is "can you play golf in the light"?

KEAYDIAN - 13 Jul 2007 14:09 - 16886 of 24230

(boing boing boing)

JStratford - 13 Jul 2007 14:40 - 16887 of 24230

You know it's turned into a right menagerie in here... Lambs, Bunnies, and Kangaroo's. And K. please note that was menagerie and not mage anything!

Socrates - 13 Jul 2007 14:43 - 16888 of 24230

The equator is a menagerie lion running around the middle of the earth.

ptholden - 13 Jul 2007 14:45 - 16889 of 24230

Socs, that is a very good question to which the answer at the moment is not very well :(
ANyway, have you seen the size of this chandelier? I have had an offer from Powergen who think it might provide sufficient power to light up Wembley in the event of a floodlight failure there. Amazing what the combination of a small golf trolley battery and an article from the Coffee House can achieve. :))

Socrates - 13 Jul 2007 14:49 - 16890 of 24230

I don't understand. I was at a wild flower recognition seminar and we were all sitting on the floor in a circle. We were being asked to identify various species from samples in front of us, as an example the instructor would ask "hold up a bluebell". Upon which request, most people would select something blue and bell like in nature and hold it in the air. When the instructor said "raise your buttercup", one chap lifted his bottom off the floor!

Socrates - 13 Jul 2007 15:48 - 16891 of 24230

That was a bargain that chandelier, got it cheap off some blokes in a three wheel van, Del and Rodders I think they were.

stockbunny - 13 Jul 2007 16:41 - 16892 of 24230

Anyone doing the late shift?

Socrates - 13 Jul 2007 16:50 - 16893 of 24230

I'll be around Bunny.

ptholden - 13 Jul 2007 16:58 - 16894 of 24230

Me too, opened a rather dodgy short on the DOW pre-open so will have to watch the bugger now, hoping for some serious profit taking. Teach me to interfere in matters I don't understand, but that could be said about most things :S
