FTSE + FTSE 250 - consider trading (FTSE)

rather than pick out individual stocks to trade, it can often be worthwhile to trade the indices themselves, especially in times of high volatility.

for those so inclined, i attach below charts for FTSE and FTSE 250, though one might equally be tempted to trade Dow or S&P, which is significantly broader in its coverage, or even NASDAQ

for ease of reading, i have attached 1 year and 3 month charts in each instance

Seams Odd, wonder why they do that..
Have to say though I've only ever used them to trade a handful of companies either on DFT or Future, never had any problems but the vast majority of trades I make are indices or FX.

Took a hit on yesterday's shorts on Dow and FTSE - stopped out on both. Have sat on my hands most of today. Now short @ 6559 again.
