Lambykins's Dutch Coffee House - ADULTS ONLY (LAMB)

Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

Spaceman - 28 Jul 2007 18:07 - 17398 of 24230

Socs, makes me think of that 'ripping yarn' where someone passed the port from the wrong side .....

Socrates - 29 Jul 2007 08:41 - 17399 of 24230

Oh no, passing the port from the wrong side, disaster!

Socrates - 29 Jul 2007 08:45 - 17400 of 24230

G'day folks. Nice day out at the NEC Antiques Fair yesterday but ended cream-crackered, as you do.

I shall have a relatively relaxing day with a few trips to the water bowsers to help keep the flies away. Possibility of some water supplies back on Tuesday, but not drinkable. Watch this space.

Morning. Wake up K. Lovely day.

Socrates - 30 Jul 2007 08:59 - 17403 of 24230

Good morning JS. I've just done my first 2 water runs of the day so I'm in need of some sustenance, FEB, tea and toast I think.

KEAYDIAN - 30 Jul 2007 09:03 - 17404 of 24230

Morning, I'm awake.

Stick a couple of rashes on Socs.

JStratford - 30 Jul 2007 09:06 - 17405 of 24230

Still difficult is it Socs? Pity you can't run a hosepipe from the cafe!

What's this K.? Turning over a new leaf?

KEAYDIAN - 30 Jul 2007 09:23 - 17406 of 24230

Early bird and the worm and all that jazz.

Quark - 30 Jul 2007 09:30 - 17407 of 24230

It was the second mouse, that got the cheese

JStratford - 30 Jul 2007 09:35 - 17408 of 24230

Plenty of cheese left for the third mouse.

K. Fair enough, although I think we might want to change it to early bird catches the fish unless the worms have all got aqualungs!

Where are all the delightful women this morning?

Socrates - 30 Jul 2007 09:44 - 17409 of 24230

Who put these two rashers on me?

Socrates - 30 Jul 2007 09:47 - 17410 of 24230

Water Update:
Servern Trent say that Socco's area should have water Tuesday. It won't be drinkable for a while so can only be used for washing clothes, bodies and sanitary purposes. Washing up and drinking still from bottles and bowsers.

They have also closed the stable door by protecting the water works and electrickery sub-stations from flooding?

Socrates - 30 Jul 2007 10:14 - 17411 of 24230

Just completed another water run.

Lambykins - 30 Jul 2007 10:17 - 17412 of 24230

JStratford - 30 Jul 2007 10:35 - 17413 of 24230

Lamby, Don't know at the moment. I think they're pretty busy at the moment. I'm sure they'll be back later :-)

Socrates - 30 Jul 2007 10:36 - 17414 of 24230

Roo's have gone looking for a billabong.
