Will this increase or decrease the likelihood of terrorist actions in America, Europe and the rest of the world?
If you were a member of a family murdered in this conflict, would you be seeking revenge?
Should Tzipi Livni and Ehud Olmert, be tried for war crimes if or when this conflict comes to an end?
What will the price of oil be in 4 weeks time?

Do you know the difference between law and a UN resolution?
Thought not.
"If you want to compare any country with the Nazis then Israel looks like the best candidate"
Typical Arab anti-semitic propaganda, LOL, you just lap it up don't you?
Trying to provoke are you?
I reckon your big copy and paste junk is a reaction to having revealed your true self by saying Palestinians should ignore international law. Trying to deflect attention from that, huh?
Big bluster = caught out LOL

See below "a violation of international law"
The Security Council,
Recalling its resolution 476 (1980),
Reaffirming again that the acquisition of territory by force is inadmissible,
Deeply concerned over the enactment of a "basic law" in the Israeli Knesset proclaiming a change in the character and status of the Holy City of Jerusalem, with its implications for peace and security,
Noting that Israel has not complied with resolution 476 (1980),
Reaffirming its determination to examine practical ways and means, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Charter of the United Nations, to secure the full implementation of its resolution 476 (1980), in the event of non-compliance by Israel,
Censures in the strongest terms the enactment by Israel of the "basic law" on Jerusalem and the refusal to comply with relevant Security Council resolutions;
Affirms that the enactment of the "basic law" by Israel constitutes a violation of international law and does not affect the continued application of the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, of 12 August 1949, in the Palestinian and other Arab territories occupied since June 1967, including Jerusalem;
Determines that all legislative and administrative measures and actions taken by Israel, the occupying Power, which have altered or purport to alter the character and status of the Holy City of Jerusalem, and in particular the recent "basic law" on Jerusalem, are null and void and must be rescinded forthwith;
Affirms also that this action constitutes a serious obstruction to achieving a comprehensive, just and lasting peace in the Middle East;
Decides not to recognize the "basic law" and such other actions by Israel that, as a result of this law, seek to alter the character and status of Jerusalem and calls upon:
All Member States to accept this decision;
Those States that have established diplomatic missions at Jerusalem to withdraw such missions from the Holy City;
Requests the Secretary-General to report to the Security Council on the implementation of the present resolution before 15 November 1980;
Decides to remain seized of this serious situation.
Adopted at the 2245th meeting by 14 votes to none, with 1 abstention (United States of America).

You make a good point.
Right up to the bit where you wreck it again with your reds under the bed paranoia. "
It's amazing how a little prodding soon reveals what people are really like..... LOL

ITL.
I am sure that Hays knows the difference.
Do you know the difference between humane and inhumane actions?
If so, are you specifically blind when viewing the past actions of Israel.
Many, who have written on this thread, have condemned both sides in the conflicts.
The problem is that the present to recognise its own responsibility when negotiating.

How about some original thought from fahel and haymaker?
You know, once you grow up having learnt to copy and paste, it's time to think for yourselves.
At least fred sometimes uses some of his own brain cells, even if they do usually malfunction.
Now don't go thinking I'm being offensive to you "gentlemen", but your unending attacks on Israel are offensive to me so you will get a response from me.
There was a moment in this thread when rational discussion and an open exchange of views was possible, but when you have irrational hatred by three posters, you've got to react in a more vigorous way. It's the only thing they understand.
Reason escapes the hateful.

ITLB, I've seen Haystack's posts for years and have never seen a single hateful one.
Methinks you do have a tendency to try to shut out logical argument by name-calling.

Kayak,
Hays is often hateful to me.
I showed his postings to my "mum", and she said I am sure that when he grows up he will be nicer".
I always believe my mum, but have doubts about this.
He is a ????????? nice fellow really.
Honest!

Gausie - hardly ! LOL I wasn't referring to you, I was talking about haymaker what with his arrogant supercilious self-righteousness saying Israel should never have existed. How many non anti-semites go around saying that?
How many non anti-semites condemn Israel for allegedly breaking "international law", then go on to say Palestinians should break "international law"?
Now you may know him personally, but his words suggest something else under the surface.
Kayak,
Are you suggesting logical argument is possible when virulent anti-Israel propaganda is posted by these people?
Check out the opening post talking of murder and war crimes.......and you think it's ME who has "a tendency to try to shut out logical argument by name-calling"
fred,
I read your last post and smiled. Maybe you have some saving grace.

The opening post is just Fred. He's a tosser with shit for brains for whom being controversial and taking on the world of rational posters gives him an e-hardon.
Recognise that he's seen almost unanimously on here as the insignificant clown that he is.

ps to Fred: No offence meant.

Gausie,
Being a newcomer here I was not aware that fred was held in such general and justifiable contempt.
I view your comments about him as being the height of perspicacity.
I tend to see his supporters as being fahel and haystacking, a sort of triumvirate of hate merchants coming from different places. Strange bed-fellows, but then the extreme left, the extreme right and the weak minded liberal left not to mention a PART (not all) of the Muslim tradition have all found something to unite them in the age old disease of anti-semitism.
By the way, I am not Jewish, but was a member of the Anti-Nazi League years ago and now Unite Against Fascism and I know a bit about spotting Nazis and anti-semites.
In Unite Against Fascism we have an eclectic mix of people, with many of whom you can have a good rational discussion about Israel, its failings, successes and difficulties but one thing we have in common is that we all loathe the hatemongers.
When we see them, we don't sit idly by.
The response of haymaker and fred to this post is very predictable LOL
