Israeli Gaza conflict?????? (GAZA)

Fred1new - 06 Jan 2009 19:21

Will this increase or decrease the likelihood of terrorist actions in America, Europe and the rest of the world?

If you were a member of a family murdered in this conflict, would you be seeking revenge?

Should Tzipi Livni and Ehud Olmert, be tried for war crimes if or when this conflict comes to an end?

What will the price of oil be in 4 weeks time?

In The Land of the B - 06 May 2010 17:36 - 1756 of 6906

Are you saying Galloway and LIvingstone AREN'T Reds?

In The Land of the B - 06 May 2010 17:36 - 1757 of 6906

"Hays,

Where, or from what, do you get your energy from?"

Same place as all fanatics. You should know.

Fred1new - 06 May 2010 17:37 - 1758 of 6906

ITL.

I am sure that Hays knows the difference.

Do you know the difference between humane and inhumane actions?

If so, are you specifically blind when viewing the past actions of Israel.

Many, who have written on this thread, have condemned both sides in the conflicts.

The problem is that the present to recognise its own responsibility when negotiating.

In The Land of the B - 06 May 2010 17:45 - 1759 of 6906

How about some original thought from fahel and haymaker?
You know, once you grow up having learnt to copy and paste, it's time to think for yourselves.
At least fred sometimes uses some of his own brain cells, even if they do usually malfunction.
Now don't go thinking I'm being offensive to you "gentlemen", but your unending attacks on Israel are offensive to me so you will get a response from me.
There was a moment in this thread when rational discussion and an open exchange of views was possible, but when you have irrational hatred by three posters, you've got to react in a more vigorous way. It's the only thing they understand.
Reason escapes the hateful.

Can I confirm - you're calling me, of all people, anti-semitic????

That's outrageous! Let me assure you - I have some very good friends who are jewish.

Kayak - 06 May 2010 18:05 - 1761 of 6906

lol

Kayak - 06 May 2010 18:07 - 1762 of 6906

ITLB, I've seen Haystack's posts for years and have never seen a single hateful one.

Methinks you do have a tendency to try to shut out logical argument by name-calling.

Fred1new - 06 May 2010 18:41 - 1763 of 6906

Kayak,

Hays is often hateful to me.

I showed his postings to my "mum", and she said I am sure that when he grows up he will be nicer".

I always believe my mum, but have doubts about this.

He is a ????????? nice fellow really.

Honest!

Haystack - 06 May 2010 18:47 - 1764 of 6906

Gausie
That's what all anti-semitic people say! Come out of the closet.

Haystack - 06 May 2010 18:48 - 1765 of 6906

Kayak
I must try harder.

In The Land of the B - 06 May 2010 21:12 - 1766 of 6906

Gausie - hardly ! LOL I wasn't referring to you, I was talking about haymaker what with his arrogant supercilious self-righteousness saying Israel should never have existed. How many non anti-semites go around saying that?
How many non anti-semites condemn Israel for allegedly breaking "international law", then go on to say Palestinians should break "international law"?
Now you may know him personally, but his words suggest something else under the surface.

Kayak,
Are you suggesting logical argument is possible when virulent anti-Israel propaganda is posted by these people?
Check out the opening post talking of murder and war crimes.......and you think it's ME who has "a tendency to try to shut out logical argument by name-calling"

fred,
I read your last post and smiled. Maybe you have some saving grace.

Gausie - 06 May 2010 21:20 - 1767 of 6906

ITLB

The opening post is just Fred. He's a tosser with shit for brains for whom being controversial and taking on the world of rational posters gives him an e-hardon.

Recognise that he's seen almost unanimously on here as the insignificant clown that he is.

G

ps to Fred: No offence meant.

All that much.

In The Land of the B - 06 May 2010 21:54 - 1768 of 6906

Gausie,
Being a newcomer here I was not aware that fred was held in such general and justifiable contempt.
I view your comments about him as being the height of perspicacity.
I tend to see his supporters as being fahel and haystacking, a sort of triumvirate of hate merchants coming from different places. Strange bed-fellows, but then the extreme left, the extreme right and the weak minded liberal left not to mention a PART (not all) of the Muslim tradition have all found something to unite them in the age old disease of anti-semitism.

By the way, I am not Jewish, but was a member of the Anti-Nazi League years ago and now Unite Against Fascism and I know a bit about spotting Nazis and anti-semites.
In Unite Against Fascism we have an eclectic mix of people, with many of whom you can have a good rational discussion about Israel, its failings, successes and difficulties but one thing we have in common is that we all loathe the hatemongers.

When we see them, we don't sit idly by.

The response of haymaker and fred to this post is very predictable LOL

Kayak - 06 May 2010 21:56 - 1769 of 6906

ITLB, I agree with Gausie though I might have used different words :-)

Kayak - 06 May 2010 21:57 - 1770 of 6906

BTW, ITLB, I see a lot of hatred in your posts. In fact you just used the word loathe.

In The Land of the B - 06 May 2010 22:05 - 1771 of 6906

There are some things I'm passionate about :)

But I'm very forgiving and also dispassionate about helping ill or injured people whoever they are.

I would help haymaker and even fahel.

But that fred, oh that would be hard :)

Kayak - 06 May 2010 22:11 - 1772 of 6906

Ah. So those anti-Semites could actually just be passionate about the suffering of people of whatever kind?

Haystack - 06 May 2010 23:18 - 1773 of 6906

Ah. It explains a lot. The anti-Nazi league were always a bunch of nutters. They always wan to suppress free speech. the way they react to the BNP is a case in point. I dislike the BNP, but I defend their right to be heard, which the anti-Nazi league do not. So, it is now Unite Against Fascism.

The best candidate for Facism is the Labour party and other left wing parties. Facism is all about state control. Of itself is has little do with racism of any sort. It just got sidetracked in that direction.

Fred1new - 07 May 2010 00:42 - 1774 of 6906

itL.

I won't miss your adulation.

In fact quiet relieved not to receive it.

Hays, I think your last paragraph is ------. (I am tired.)

I think if there was a little more state control we wouldn't be in the economic chaos that we are in.

A few months ago, the City and the Markets were praying for intervention by the state to bail them out.

There is a need for a strong interventionist government sometimes, otherwise you have a government by financial monopoly and not social moderate consensus morality.

Which to a certain degree the Ashcrofts of this world have tried to do with in the present election.

The morning will say whether they have got away with itor not.

Gausie - 07 May 2010 09:08 - 1775 of 6906

Copied Fred into one of my earlier posts by email .... just in case he missed it on the BB.
