Thats a frightening rate of cash burn for the six months! Looks like they will need another fund raising a this rate :-(

Morning everyone,
Well more of the same with one little problem.
The consideration of its funding requirements!!
All well and good if you have the revenue stream from the products you have the patents for.
They must be carefull how they do this - one chance only.
We are all going to be tapped for more - I don't mind if they get deals signed.
Quite right on the wrap - but consider this.
Why the wait for these results - there is nothing here that could not have been stated three weeks ago.
I think they have been waiting for a contract and run out of time.
thoughts everyone?

Morning Pinnacle and all,
I agree with all your views, nothing more to say. Perhaps I like many had built my hopes up a tad too much.

Yeah but also could have been due to the fact that they were preparing the accounts under the IFRS Standard and the new FD wanted to get them right, think overall these interims are very dissapointing and certainly weren't worth the wait.

Another fund raising is going to be required to keep the company going, the Results say as much. Nothing new re contracts, 6p next stop I'm afraid :-(

Amendment to the results.
In 'Highlights' the second bullet point should read 'Loss before taxation of
2,337,000 (2005: 1,000,000)' and not 'Loss before taxation of 2,100,000
(2005: 960,000)'.
You would think that they could have got it right the first time. Don't they proof read.

I wonder what Tom Bullshit from Red Hot Penny Shares has got to say now... is it still buy upto 25p? So much for meeting the company's management!
Have e-mailed SEO for a proper update on Greenseal progress or termination of development.

no real update re trials, no commercialisation, no REAL bulish comments , it's as though they want the sp to plummet. very poor.

I don't see how they can be holding anything back, it's too risky, re the rules.
I think the results say it as it is. Nothing new to report, good or bad.
I would like to read it as steady as she goes. But where is it going.

greekman, "steady as she goes"???? without the last placing they would have run out of money. very poor.

I like many have probably put too much gloss on and been too impatient re this. This caused me to fully expect a contract statement in the results, so when expectations don't happen we can tend to go from too optimistic to too pessimistic.
I am trying to be level headed re this but it is difficult.
Can't see the wood for the trees springs to mind.
I just hope nothing nasty is lurking in said forest.

I'm interested as to how they're going to raise their funding, I think these Micro Plants are going to require some cash.

I will have no problem re further cash raising as long as it can be shown that there are contracts and the bottom line of worth before any of my cash goes in.

Not read the interims yet, but the summary looks disappointing, but better than the one I half expected. T/O 2.6m compare to 1.5m for full year, so one would expect at least 5m year end which would be >200% increase on previous year.
I assume the 1.2m capital expenditure was mainly for the 3-off sealing machines. If not could it have been for an MMP???
The admin costs for this halh year exceeds that for the full previous year, where is it all going?

LONDON (AFX) - Degradable plastics company Symphony Plastic Technologies PLC said its change in strategy whereby it no longer competes with finished product suppliers but can work in harmony with them will have a positive impact on its second half results and beyond.
In an AGM statement chairman Nirj Deva said the company had started to turn the corner following its successful defence of the legal challenge to its core business and technology last year by Environmental Products Inc.
He said that with many of the major distractions and problems of the past few years over the company is in a position to develop all areas of the business, such as corporate governance, unhindered and looked forward to 'exciting times' in 2006 and 07.
Deva said: '2005 was a challenging year but also a year of evolution in which a new and more exciting strategy was implemented. We are becoming a more flexible business, operating on lower cost and higher operating margins.'
