LOL

tweenie - 14 Jul 2006 08:52 - 17698 of 27111

no real update re trials, no commercialisation, no REAL bulish comments , it's as though they want the sp to plummet. very poor.

greekman - 14 Jul 2006 09:07 - 17699 of 27111

I don't see how they can be holding anything back, it's too risky, re the rules.
I think the results say it as it is. Nothing new to report, good or bad.
I would like to read it as steady as she goes. But where is it going.

bosley - 14 Jul 2006 09:14 - 17700 of 27111

greekman, "steady as she goes"???? without the last placing they would have run out of money. very poor.

greekman - 14 Jul 2006 09:50 - 17701 of 27111

I like many have probably put too much gloss on and been too impatient re this. This caused me to fully expect a contract statement in the results, so when expectations don't happen we can tend to go from too optimistic to too pessimistic.
I am trying to be level headed re this but it is difficult.
Can't see the wood for the trees springs to mind.
I just hope nothing nasty is lurking in said forest.

Does'nt the exclusivity period with asda run out at end of month?
will we see a deal?

Biscuit - 14 Jul 2006 09:58 - 17703 of 27111

I'm interested as to how they're going to raise their funding, I think these Micro Plants are going to require some cash.

greekman - 14 Jul 2006 10:25 - 17704 of 27111

I will have no problem re further cash raising as long as it can be shown that there are contracts and the bottom line of worth before any of my cash goes in.

garyble - 14 Jul 2006 10:57 - 17705 of 27111

Not read the interims yet, but the summary looks disappointing, but better than the one I half expected. T/O 2.6m compare to 1.5m for full year, so one would expect at least 5m year end which would be >200% increase on previous year.

I assume the 1.2m capital expenditure was mainly for the 3-off sealing machines. If not could it have been for an MMP???

The admin costs for this halh year exceeds that for the full previous year, where is it all going?

G D Potts - 14 Jul 2006 11:15 - 17706 of 27111

f**k me Stanelco are shit! Im sold, piling in to DOO.
Good Luck ..

driver - 14 Jul 2006 11:19 - 17707 of 27111

I might sell my shares and but a couple of frogpacks.

The company, which specialises in environmentally sustainable packaging using radio frequency applications, blamed the loss on costs incurred in 'the various initiatives that have been vigorously pursued'.

driver - 14 Jul 2006 11:23 - 17708 of 27111

G D Potts
Doo doo that potts then we can see which share will ten baggers first.

G D Potts - 14 Jul 2006 11:46 - 17709 of 27111

Which one do you think will raise funds next DRIVER? and make your holding worth even less?
I think you could be seeing One Pee a share soon.
Wheres Hewittalan Gone? My buddy can read this and down his sorrows as SYM jump 8% on the day SEO collapse.
Hewitalan, Just look at the difference in Quality of companies; (Oh, you sold your holding didnt you?)

LONDON (AFX) - Degradable plastics company Symphony Plastic Technologies PLC said its change in strategy whereby it no longer competes with finished product suppliers but can work in harmony with them will have a positive impact on its second half results and beyond.

In an AGM statement chairman Nirj Deva said the company had started to turn the corner following its successful defence of the legal challenge to its core business and technology last year by Environmental Products Inc.

He said that with many of the major distractions and problems of the past few years over the company is in a position to develop all areas of the business, such as corporate governance, unhindered and looked forward to 'exciting times' in 2006 and 07.

Deva said: '2005 was a challenging year but also a year of evolution in which a new and more exciting strategy was implemented. We are becoming a more flexible business, operating on lower cost and higher operating margins.'

hewittalan6 - 14 Jul 2006 12:04 - 17710 of 27111

I aint sold anything.
I have been in Mexico, with no worthwhile access to any info or the internet.
Got back yesterday and am as disappointed as anyone by these interims.
I am still looking for the bright spot in it all, but I can only come up with the same old line. There is a shedfull in the pipeline. This is no longer good enough. We need the pipeline to start producing 's now.
Not overly concerned re having to raise money, because WM, Perseco, Asda et al will have studied SEO financially as part of their due diligance. If they were shaky, these guys would have pulled out of any negotiations. I am more concerned over the deafening silence on Greenseal and Starpol moving to full commercialisation.
This could be for one of three reasons.
1) No news to report.
2) A battle is on to save negotiations, because there are problems of which we are not aware
3) negotiations are at late stage and offering news now would be seen as bad form by the other parties.
If it is 1 or 2, we are in trouble. If it is 3 we are laughing.
Which is it? I don't know and neither does anyone else who frequents these hallowed boards, so you pay your money and take your chances.
FWIW, I'm still around and hoping.
Alan

G D Potts,

I have edited your post no. 17706 - the first word, as some may take offence at that word.

Ian

G D Potts - 14 Jul 2006 12:16 - 17712 of 27111

of course.

robinhood - 14 Jul 2006 12:17 - 17713 of 27111

Just find it extremely disappointing that SEO board is taking the piss with its shareholders by not giving any substantiated news. Are they forgetting that sofar most of us have backed them all the way through and deserve at least a meaningful update rather than waffle

markusantonius - 14 Jul 2006 12:19 - 17714 of 27111

EWR, are you still in?

G D Potts - 14 Jul 2006 12:19 - 17715 of 27111

IanT , do you have to check through every thread or is there some kind of alert when key words are posted?

markusantonius - 14 Jul 2006 12:29 - 17716 of 27111

Anyone think there will be even the slightest bounce back next week, at all?
