Not read the interims yet, but the summary looks disappointing, but better than the one I half expected. T/O 2.6m compare to 1.5m for full year, so one would expect at least 5m year end which would be >200% increase on previous year.
I assume the 1.2m capital expenditure was mainly for the 3-off sealing machines. If not could it have been for an MMP???
The admin costs for this halh year exceeds that for the full previous year, where is it all going?

Which one do you think will raise funds next DRIVER? and make your holding worth even less?
I think you could be seeing One Pee a share soon.
Wheres Hewittalan Gone? My buddy can read this and down his sorrows as SYM jump 8% on the day SEO collapse.
Hewitalan, Just look at the difference in Quality of companies; (Oh, you sold your holding didnt you?)
LONDON (AFX) - Degradable plastics company Symphony Plastic Technologies PLC said its change in strategy whereby it no longer competes with finished product suppliers but can work in harmony with them will have a positive impact on its second half results and beyond.
In an AGM statement chairman Nirj Deva said the company had started to turn the corner following its successful defence of the legal challenge to its core business and technology last year by Environmental Products Inc.
He said that with many of the major distractions and problems of the past few years over the company is in a position to develop all areas of the business, such as corporate governance, unhindered and looked forward to 'exciting times' in 2006 and 07.
Deva said: '2005 was a challenging year but also a year of evolution in which a new and more exciting strategy was implemented. We are becoming a more flexible business, operating on lower cost and higher operating margins.'

I aint sold anything.
I have been in Mexico, with no worthwhile access to any info or the internet.
Got back yesterday and am as disappointed as anyone by these interims.
I am still looking for the bright spot in it all, but I can only come up with the same old line. There is a shedfull in the pipeline. This is no longer good enough. We need the pipeline to start producing 's now.
Not overly concerned re having to raise money, because WM, Perseco, Asda et al will have studied SEO financially as part of their due diligance. If they were shaky, these guys would have pulled out of any negotiations. I am more concerned over the deafening silence on Greenseal and Starpol moving to full commercialisation.
This could be for one of three reasons.
1) No news to report.
2) A battle is on to save negotiations, because there are problems of which we are not aware
3) negotiations are at late stage and offering news now would be seen as bad form by the other parties.
If it is 1 or 2, we are in trouble. If it is 3 we are laughing.
Which is it? I don't know and neither does anyone else who frequents these hallowed boards, so you pay your money and take your chances.
FWIW, I'm still around and hoping.

G D Potts,
I have edited your post no. 17706 - the first word, as some may take offence at that word.

Just find it extremely disappointing that SEO board is taking the piss with its shareholders by not giving any substantiated news. Are they forgetting that sofar most of us have backed them all the way through and deserve at least a meaningful update rather than waffle

Anyone think there will be even the slightest bounce back next week, at all?

I shouldnt think so Mark, not even the slightest. But expect some further falls as more people start to accept that SEO has lied, I might buy back at 1p but that still seems expensive for Stanelco.

Keep your eyes on SYM and DOO Driver, as when you sell SEO you may want a share that actually performs, that is if your holding is worth anything by then.

Does anyone know where the FSA (or any other body) stand wrt the misleading of investors. Looking back over the last 18 months to 2 years at what SEO have said / indicated regarding Greenseal particularly around ASDA now looks either hopelessly optimistic or a complete pack of lies given the lack of info. in today's statement which now sounds very much like a precursor to bad news!

i've had a few hours to digest the news . Was dissappointed.
However, after reflection It's pretty much what I expected. Have e-mailed seo regarding a proper update re greenseal and asda, await reply.
Unless that turns into a complete donkey then nothings changed. the products and potential are there.
The MAJOR investments have been made and cash is only needed to see through to fruition.
Guess its just a matter of waiting for the jam.
as ever optimistic.LOL its only my money going down the pan.

It would be nice to see some Directors/ The CEO buying in, now that the share price is at a bargain and they are probably out of the closed period?? Or have they got no faith in themselves or SEO? I'm not selling, as far as I'm concerned it's sh*t or bust now.

angus I agree with you, I would also like to see some directors buying in now and in big quantities not the odd 5000 here and there. Their lack of buying is one of the things that worries me, particulary those recent appointments who presumably have jumped dhip elsewhere to join SEO.
