jj50 - 05 Nov 2004 16:07 - 17859 of 23498

No bunny, I am in too. Daughter back from Uni for the night and son home too so we will all be calming the dog who most definitely doesn't like fireworks!! I used to love Bonfire Night but my lot a bit old for it now :-(

jeffmack - 05 Nov 2004 16:10 - 17860 of 23498

Gotta check my tackle this evening, fishing tomorrow

stockbunny - 05 Nov 2004 16:14 - 17861 of 23498

I know what you mean JJ - same here, if my 13 yr old (going on 16
you understand as they all are these days, no time for childhood!)
but if he wanted to go, it would be with mates - he's grown up a
lot this last year, shame really, as it means I can't be as much of
a big kid myself any more, haven't got an excuse now... :>(
(So the thought occurs do I need one, an excuse that is?? :>)

Jeffius - so good you added the last bit to your post dear!! ;>)

daves dazzlers - 05 Nov 2004 16:14 - 17862 of 23498

hilary - 05 Nov 2004 16:14 - 17863 of 23498

Managed to turn a 10k profit into a 7k loss in a few short hours. I've had better days.

Hohumm. There's always next week.

edit: Was getting some exercise at the time. Who says that exercise is good for you?

optomistic - 05 Nov 2004 16:15 - 17864 of 23498

Yes make sure you don't leave your tackle at home Jeff!
Although the fish would be happier.

stockbunny - 05 Nov 2004 16:15 - 17865 of 23498

Sorry to hear that Hilary - as you say there's always next week..

daves dazzlers - 05 Nov 2004 16:16 - 17866 of 23498

Girls nothing wrong with a quick tackle check in the bush!!!!!!!!!!!mens health and all that,,bunny.

stockbunny - 05 Nov 2004 16:21 - 17867 of 23498

Any excuse to play Doctors Dave.....especially in a bush!?
If you had a raincoat on at the time it could get you into a lot
of trouble.."But officer I was only doing a self-examination!"
Yeah....not a cat's chance in hell with that excuse
;>)

stockbunny - 05 Nov 2004 16:32 - 17868 of 23498

OK all I'm outta here now - have a great evening whether you are
out or staying in looking after nerve-shredded pets.
Food is on - I love this virtual cooking, its so quick and easy LOL!!
So help yourselves...

jeffmack - 05 Nov 2004 16:58 - 17869 of 23498

Hils
Sorry to hear that, no doubt you will get it back next week. Was the forex?

DD
A bit of carp fishing. 3 rods, 3 reels, 3 buzzers all the same. Sit back and read a good book.

Socrates - 05 Nov 2004 17:13 - 17870 of 23498

Hello, is there anybody there? I see there has been a lot of posts today, some quite amazing. The thought of Jeff checking his tackle is more than one can bear (or should that be bare)?

Firework night for me is a batten down the hatches and turn off the lights night. One's moggy does not like it at all. Despite having a temperament akin to Atilla the Hun, he is chicken hearted and requires a little TLC every Nov 5th.

optomistic - 05 Nov 2004 19:36 - 17871 of 23498

Socs must have gone ages ago so I'll have a Guiness and look after the place for awhile. Nice selection of sandwhiches in the fridge, thanks Bunny.

Socrates - 05 Nov 2004 19:58 - 17872 of 23498

Hi Opto, I'm still here but lurking in the background. Just popping in to see if anyone has strolled in for a bevvy. Mucho noisio outside with whizzbangs a plenty.

I'm having tea and bickies.

Funny old day for my portfolio, very odd movements but ended up up, as it were.
