Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

JT: Nowt else to call it.From the time I click on something to the point of getting a flicker of a response. Whether is overburden IP connections, overburden processor or whatever it means a "queue". When I use the site in the late evening everything is zippitydoodah.As I said, the BB thread list now draws rapido ONCE an initial response is obtained.Conclusion: Change QUEUE to another word, but the implication is the same.

J, BT is describing exactly the symptoms that I get al the time I know how he feels.

Sometimes the style sheets don't load properly, I don't know if that's a pointer to the issue or a related one.

ok, I understand now.

It is an odd problem becuase I get the connections quick and fast.

I take a look at the tcp queue on our app servers and see if I can tweak that.

It cant happen till after 16:30 tho...

J I just had a very long pause before a refresh and then the page only half refreshed, I have a copy of the screen do you have an email add I can send it to?

I've just realised my Stockwatch has been going all morning without a need for a forced refresh because it had stopped streaming. Could any of the BB changes have had an influence on that JT? Much to the positive of course.

There is no reason at all that your stockwatch should stop streaming. If it does, then it is normally due to an interupt somewhere down the wire...

However, ill take the credit if you want :)

This has probably been mentioned many times, but the bulletin board search by epic doesn't work about half the time. I'm not actually sure it ever did work properly, but will it ever be fixed?

The ACM volume in Stockwatch is exactly 6,000 below the volume showing in L2. It appears that a 7:56 pre-market trade of 6k has gone through which hasn't registered in Stockwatch.

Has anything changed on your PC at all? or has it always been like this?

Just confirming, no problem here (at home on ADSL) accessing Thursday's or Friday's Traders' Thread.

Sonofagun: it's worth remembering that some charts and other graphics are linked through from other sites -- if there's a problem with access to that particular site, it will show up as a missing graphic here. It's no fault of MoneyAM when this happens, just an artifact of the vast complexity of the 'net.
