Cybit the best telematics play (CYH)

Still Waiting - 21 Sep 2003 22:33

The chart for this stock says it all.

The company is quickly becoming a real gem in the telematics field, over the last month the co. has announced re-seller contracts which will bring in min. 2m or >30% of last years T/O alone.

The company is already experiencing massive organic growth so the co. should be profitable now following last years 500k loss.

The co. has approx. 6m cash and is in one of the hottest growth areas at the moment.

With a market cap. of 25m this will be re-rated x2/3 minimum within the next 6-12 months IMHO.

MM buys went through on Friday with T/O continuing to build, one to put on your monitor...

Douggie - 25 May 2004 21:18 - 1808 of 3104

jnknill, thanks for greeting..no not me on the "throne" more likly to be in the sh*t!! not counting profits yet, glad to see blue but need another 1.2p just to be even, that looks a long way off given CYH perfomance since I 'invested' I saw 1 week of profit 1st week of year! since then charts tell all, I live in expectation {not much] of returning to that state this year

Still trading at 2.1 sell & 2.2 buy with my broker.

Douggie - 26 May 2004 08:49 - 1810 of 3104

would cost me 2.05sell/2.17 buy still put most todays recorded sell as buy!

little woman - 26 May 2004 08:58 - 1811 of 3104

Yes that the trouble with the way the trades are "recorded" (i.e. just a transaction and if below mid, a sell - above, a buy.)

The only thing positive I can say to you, is if you can hold them for over 12 months then the taper relief for CTG is 50%.

Douggie - 26 May 2004 09:20 - 1812 of 3104

thanks little woman at the mo. I will be delighted to be in profit in that time scale, to be concerned about CGT.....WELL!

Kivver - 26 May 2004 09:20 - 1813 of 3104

take no notice of the trade section all you have to worry about is the price going up up or down. also opened .05p up on closing price last night.

Kivver - 26 May 2004 17:29 - 1814 of 3104

Oh dear oh dear :~[[[

optomistic - 28 May 2004 10:06 - 1817 of 3104

No problem Douggie, the MM's have just lowered their offer to 2.15p. Bid remains the same @ 2.0p. Makes it cheaper to buy, the spread on CYH is sometimes ridiculously wide
Good luck

Douggie - 28 May 2004 18:22 - 1818 of 3104

looks like a bit of big time dumping on close 2.35mln.

little woman - 28 May 2004 19:02 - 1819 of 3104

and 1.25 mil after market close. I would expect the price to be much worse than it is - that fact that who ever it was got better price after market close than before, means they either have an unbeliveably good broker, or it was actually a buy as some warrants were exercised (although I only know of warrants o/s @ 3p), which if it is, then we'll find out next week.

Douggie - 28 May 2004 20:15 - 1820 of 3104

at 2p I thought the 1.25m would have to be sell ????

Douggie - 28 May 2004 20:16 - 1821 of 3104

earlyer ones were at 2.03 p

chrissie - 29 May 2004 00:42 - 1822 of 3104

It was a buy!

Douggie - 29 May 2004 00:44 - 1823 of 3104

thanks chrissie......... good hol. weekend to all

little woman - 30 May 2004 11:38 - 1824 of 3104

Larges sells & buys are normally at worse prices than smaller orders. And after the market close the prices are even worse.

There was a 1m order @ 1.95 which would have been a sell driven order. (I prefer using "driven" as someone else would have bought the share) - so I would expect an order of the same size after the market closed if sell driven would be the same or worse than 1.95. Someone with a good broker may have been lucky to get 2p, perhaps if the broker wanted more stock, or just wanted to keep his client "sweet" as a sell - but at the same time I also would be surprised if it was a buy - again the price was too good, especially as it was after market close. That's what makes me wonder if there are any warrants out there for 2p, and perhaps they were excercised?

All speculation on my part - but then this share does trade at some very odd prices within a very wide spread!
