Am I the only person who hates those damn call centres in Bangalore? I've got a woman on the phone at the moment ...... I'm on the verge of getting SERIOUSLY rude to her!!!!!!!!

jeffmack - 10 Nov 2004 11:02 - 18183 of 23498

Hils
I work with a very nice girl from Bangalore, I just showed her your post and she smiled.

hilary - 10 Nov 2004 11:03 - 18184 of 23498

Jeff,

I just got rude with her ....... my second word was "off".

:o)

Spaceman - 10 Nov 2004 11:04 - 18185 of 23498

hils your not alone, i hate all call centres...

hilary - 10 Nov 2004 11:13 - 18186 of 23498

Space,

I'm part Indian myself, so it's not a race thing. In fact the lady in question was probably very nice and she certainly remained very polite in the wake of my tongue lashing.

I really can't put my finger on what it is about those places though ...... they drive me up the wall!!

Spaceman - 10 Nov 2004 11:19 - 18187 of 23498

Hils its not a race thing with me either I hate the UK based ones just as much. I think they are an excuse for companies to not train their staff properly and to pretend its all done for customer service when it seems to me that the opposite is true.

My girfrient as also part Indian, her father was half indian half french and her mother is swiss, but she was born and brought up in Hastings !

little willie - 10 Nov 2004 11:48 - 18188 of 23498

JJ..You're not the first to mention my falling asleep, I miss so much..lol.
if Cillas still on the go with coffee and tea I'll have a mug of builders with a nice crusty white bread sandwich, lurpak with watercress is all I require, simple tastes..

Hi to a cafe full of 'Les Dames' today, we are so lucky, what beauty,
what a lovely place to sit and people watch.

Hickey..just a guess, Sioux or Blackfeet?
Bangalore is the garden of India, very beautiful.

Spaceman...so for elevenses you'll be having the french baguettes with cockles, melted Emmental cheese with a curry topping ...
sounds pretty normal to me...

hilary - 10 Nov 2004 12:07 - 18189 of 23498

Winks,

The other girls at school used to put two fingers up above their head (pretend feathers) and pat their mouth with their other hand to make the "waaa waaa waaa waaa" sound. Little Mini Haha.

Actually, there's a mix of English, French, Portuguese and Indian inside somewhere. It's quite funny because, whenever I go to a mediterrainean country, the natives always start talking to me in their own tongue because they think that I'm one of their own. It's normally met with a "Bog off Diego".

stockbunny - 10 Nov 2004 13:31 - 18190 of 23498
