Sorry Priscilla, coffee is on now but probably a bit late ........ :-( Sorry I missed the muffins.

Grandma's birthday, so we all had to turn up in force mid-day so no trading today. Doesn't look like too much has happened in my absence. Hope you have all had a good day and not too hung over from last night!!

jj50 - 10 Nov 2004 16:50 - 18226 of 23498

See we have moved on........bye Bunny! Well done Priscilla - shall check my mail now. Apparently they are giving more prizes again so perhaps there is hope.

Socrates - 10 Nov 2004 17:29 - 18228 of 23498

Yawwwwnnnnnnnnn.
Oh dear, I seem to have slept through the party. Must have been a really lively one, but you know what the cosy chair is like, close your eyes and wake up a fortnight later.

I'll put the kettle on.

little willie - 10 Nov 2004 19:22 - 18229 of 23498

dd.missed you earlier mate, sorry to hear you had a crap day,; you're prob at the match now, sad do tonight re crazy horse.

jessie,,had one of those sandwiches, they slipped down easily, like throwing a sausage down the mersey tunnel.

what about pdx, you out these days? Stormer day for DES res.

I slept through the party as well Socs, think the trifle may have been trifled with and the sesame seeds weren't.
What size is the kettle 6 & 7/8?

hilary - 10 Nov 2004 19:29 - 18230 of 23498

You've got mail, Winks. It seems like a good time to buy that steam pump thingey atm ...... it's also PRM that you should be long, imo.

Must dash ...... the footy's on the box in a mo. Only popped in for the FOMC.

Socrates - 10 Nov 2004 19:47 - 18231 of 23498

Kettle is size 78, metric.

little willie - 10 Nov 2004 20:51 - 18232 of 23498

Hickey...as you know, built the new gaff with prm proceeds but still have a fair holding [long,as ever] in them; we're in agreement on likely conclusion, will now go to your love letter with eagerness.

Socs.. that'll be the one that holds two pints eh?

Socrates - 10 Nov 2004 22:33 - 18233 of 23498

78 litres lw.

STORMCALLER - 10 Nov 2004 22:43 - 18234 of 23498

Evening all,
Stopped by for a swifty to celebrate, DES Hurrah! Very unusual for one of my holdings to go up 2 days on the trot, must be worth cracking a bottle of fizz!

Socrates - 10 Nov 2004 23:09 - 18235 of 23498

Nice one Stormy. One of mine seems to be on the move too, SVB. Mind you, I have no idea why.

STORMCALLER - 10 Nov 2004 23:18 - 18236 of 23498

Socs,
Thank you, pure luck I am the first to admit, I "inherited" as the result of a takeover, so had them for a while, but nice all the same! Can't help with SVB unfortunately, not one of my sectors...but long may it continue!

Big Al - 10 Nov 2004 23:30 - 18237 of 23498

Evening all.

Offshore now, but seem to have a reasonable connection to keep an eye on things. Unfortunately, I can't partake of any alcohol, but should pop in from time to time for the odd espresso.

SC - nice one DES. Hasn't it done well. I missed it, of course! ;-(

STORMCALLER - 10 Nov 2004 23:35 - 18238 of 23498

Big Al,
Good to see you again, DES has been a star this week, might be best to keep quiet about missing it given your stock-in-trade.....lol
How long are you away for, if you stay much longer you will be bankrupt at those prices..:)

Big Al - 11 Nov 2004 00:00 - 18239 of 23498

Stormie

They say you should never trade a company in your own line of business, but it's hard. ;-))

Luckily for myself and my 3 comrades ENI were kind enough to pick up the tab for everything in the hotel, including 4 evening's refreshments. More fool them, I say. Not sure they are a short, but don't expect record profits in their next quarterly results! ROFLMAO!

Well, there ain't much to do in Kristiandsund!

STORMCALLER - 11 Nov 2004 00:20 - 18240 of 23498

Big Al,
As you may expect I do have the odd dabble on my own doorstep, so therefore fully understand the value of the advice! Re ENI, I just hope you realise your awesome responsibility as you recline in the bar? Seems an ideal environment for some lateral risk management, the more you have, the less you will care, the less you care, the more you might think about a punt in your own industry, when you have had enough so you don't care at all........do the short...lol!!

I have to leave now, hot schedule tomorrow.
Gotta blow.
Goodnight all

SC
