Its is good to see Cameron and Osborne have got on the wrong train once again.
Of course, they are not going to do another U-turn.
They are just going to park in the sidings!
Surely they can't be virgins any longer.

It is not plan B, but plan A.A
Next change will be plan A.B
and so on. They are just playing with words, rather than doing their job right or accepting their mistakes

Unfortunately, the following words can be applied to the coalition cabinet we have at the moment:
"We live in an age of great events and little men."
Can't remember who wrote those words.

Ed Milliband still comes across as an overgrown schoolboy. He stands absolutely no chance of being elected. He is also transforming the Labour party back into the party that British people dislike. At least with New Labour the party could pretend that is something else and not socialist. Milliband looks like being as successful as Kinnock. The party knows they elected the wrong brother, but as usual they were in the unions' pockets.

Yet again another child is taken.
Sterner measures should be taken to protect our children from these predatory people.
In addition to convicted paedophiles being put on the sex offenders register, they should also be tagged for life, via a gps system.
That way at least a regulatory body would know where they are every second of every day.
This would indicate if they were loitering around play areas, school and the like and if a child went missing, a quick check would show if any paedophiles were in the area.
As a retired Police Officer, I know that in the UK the number of paedophiles' is far higher than the general public are aware, (if you knew just how many lived in your area would would be amazed).
It is imperative that they are tracked far above the present level.
Expensive, perhaps, but if just the life and safety of one child is saved it would be money well spent
I am sure the vast majority of the general public would welcome such a move, but no doubt the Human Rights Brigade would be up in arms, but its about time the human rights of children who are our most vulnerable victims is put before those of the offender.
I doubt that any politician would be strong enough to implement such a scheme, but something must be done and quickly.
If I state my preference as to how I would treat these people, I am aware that my post would be edited.
If you agree with my comments, I urge all to contact there local MP and the media re this.

I have recalled who wrote those apt words. Churchill.
Hays,
I seem to remember that I posted, before the last election, that the result of it would be a coalition government.
Your response was a forecast of a grand tory win, which was equivalent to a “load of rubbish based”, based on quoting “poll results” and your “wishes”.
How wrong can you be.
Also, at the time, I suggested it was a good “election” to lose. In one way I think I was correct.
But I didn’t realise how bad this coalition government would be.
====
Ed Milliband, is young and I was surprised at the time he was chosen as labour party leader, and had some doubts about the choice at the time.
However, so far, he shows far more political acumen and is maturing rapidly, especially when compared with the two probable “flashes in the pan”, Cameron and Baron Osborne”.
Unlike the latter two, it is apparent to those who watch, that he does think about future labour policies and “pronouncements”, rather than rushing to the media with ill-thought out, “back of a fag packet” notions, or primitive “ideological, or incoherent ” platitudes.
Compared with previous periods of “the labour party”, I think the present “leadership group” are moving into or a more realistic phase and adopting more moderate and acceptable “ideologies and practices”, which will prove more acceptable to the more predominantly moderate and larger group of voters.
That means those who wish an inclusive, cohesive equitable society.
The problem with the tory party, is that when the “gloss and paint” has been removed what is revealed is a “hierarchical leadership” with “with some camp followers” stuck in the past with a firm “belief” entrenched in “elitism”. Their “veneer” of “caring and social responsibility” is soon washed away by “their actions”.
As far as brothers are concerned, I have had many ferocious arguments with my elder brother and still remain on good terms, although often have differing views.

Hays,
I was in the same University as Kinnock, at the same time.
He was a poor bridge player, but one thing which I admire him for was standing up to the "loony left" of the Labour party. The labour party is grateful for that.
The Labour party has moved on, it is a shame the tories haven't and still puppets on a string to the Aschrofts and a small number of wealthy tax avoiders living outside the country and exporting its wealth.

Greek,
I would bring back vigilantism and summary justice.
That would solve the problem.
============================
One of the better ways to protect against the “crime” would be to educate their parents or guardians to be more protective of the responsibilities.
Also, perhaps, increasing scrutiny of those in “caring” and “investigating” positions.
==========
Again, without looking it up, I think the highest rates of “paedophilia” are found within the family. (That is without including Filicide.)
Education and change of “culture” would seem to me to be the only method of reducing this form of crime.
How you educate in this area is the problem.
It would be reasonable to think that in this country the following law was passed:=
“On 4 August 1842, a law was passed that stopped women and children under ten years from working underground in mines in Britain.
The change of law was bitterly opposed by many of the “Coal Owners”. The echoes of which still resonates through the philosophy of some Trade Unionists.
-------------
You can change the law, but changing the "family cultures" takes longer.

It has been revealed that the missing girl has cerebral palsy. It is not enough that she has suffered already, but that she has been abducted and subjected to heavens known what and probably dead somewhere.
It is yet another PR disaster for God.

Hays,
If God doesn't exist he can't have failed.
But each man is responsible for the creation of his own beliefs and actions.
Some of those beliefs are more credible than others and some actions more worthy than others.
Have you ever looked at your own beliefs and actions and pondered on how you formulated your own values?
===========
But this government seems more and more incompetent. Not only my opinion, but much of the media's.
You had better look out, as Cameron and Osborne, first blamed the labour government, then Europe, then the world and now civil servants and the weather for their own mistakes. You may be in the firing line as you voted for them.

I thought Cameron was going to be the New Messiah and Osborne was going to be the new Paul.
Before reality broke through the party follower lauded them as Captain Invincible and his Space dog, hoping that they would walk on water, rather than seem to drown in it.
The only thing they seem to have got right is the weather.
Well, at least the reservoirs are full again.

French bill targets overseas militant training camps
The French government is drafting a bill that would allow the prosecution of people who train as militants in extremist camps overseas.
The move comes six months after Frenchman Mohamed Merah killed seven people in shootings near Toulouse.
Merah claimed links to al-Qaeda and said he had attended training camps in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
New legislation will also allow authorities to monitor suspects thought to be running extremist websites.
Those found to have attended militant training camps overseas could face up to 10 years in prison.
