Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Also the refresh tick box on the UK sector indices heatmap won't stay on. You tick it and after loading again it becomes unticked.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 07 Apr 2004 10:20 - 1882 of 7315

biggs,

After you click on the tick box are you pressing the go button?

The problem has now been isolated and the figures should now start to catch up.

Yes I am clicking on the go button! The same as I do on the FTSE-100 heat-map which works fine (at least in terms of auto-refreshing).

biggs,

Just wanted to check - I will get the team to look into it.

The FTSE 100 heatmap is still wrong btw Ian.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 07 Apr 2004 12:38 - 1887 of 7315

biggs,

I will take a look.

Ian

EIDT,

Have just spoken to jonathan and the problem you are seeing with the heatmaps is a residual problem from what we experienced this morning.

The problem has been resolved, but it may take a while for the data to catch up.

Regards

Ian

Ok, thanks Ian.

Request pls: On the Streaming Stockwatch include a "Trade Type" column (ie: O, AT, VW, UT, etc etc)

PeterG - 07 Apr 2004 17:37 - 1890 of 7315

Hmmm, I think there's still something wrong with S500. Select a 1-month candle chart and the last candle is blue. S&P is currently down... Looks like today's data is missing - check the dates along the bottom.

Felix(MoneyAM) - 07 Apr 2004 17:42 - 1891 of 7315

PeterG, as I say we are lacking S&P intraday but a fix is in the works.

Playboy,

I will get one of the boys to take a look into doing this for you.

Not sure this is the right thread.

But as a relatively new user of Moneyam I am generally very happy, but would like some enhancement of the magazine page if possible:-

1) Allowing for a search based on company name or epic.
2) Backdates of previous editions of Shares magazine
3) Ability to search through archives on epics or name for previous articles, results or news updates and have them organised chronologically.

Good Luck

IanT(MoneyAM) - 13 Apr 2004 13:12 - 1895 of 7315

Fred1new,

Due to the way the magazine is added to the site it makes some of these features quite hard to add on a weekly basis.

However, in answer to some of your questions, with regard to backdated issues of the mag, you are able to access the archive by clicking on Archive, however, this will only include magazines from when MoneyAM first started.

With regard to your other suggestions around search facilities, I will certainly forward them onto the person who deals with the magazine online, but as I have said they may be quite hard to implement.

Sorry another problem and I am not certain it is yours or not.

For the last week or so I have been plague with my Trojan horse and Spyware blocker being triggered by Mediaplex and AvenueA.inc.

Previous to this all seem peaceful.

Any polite suggestions?

IanT(MoneyAM) - 13 Apr 2004 13:22 - 1897 of 7315

Fred1new,

Just taking a look into this, but it may well be caused by something within a third party advert we may be displaying - I will let you know.

Ian

Fred1new - 13 Apr 2004 13:28 - 1898 of 7315

Found archive. VG

Thank you ++

Fred1new - 13 Apr 2004 13:37 - 1899 of 7315

The Spyware program is blocked everytime I change a page at your site ie. from one stopwatch list to another!!
Hope this is useful to you.

Thanks Fred,

Geoff has E mailed Advertising to see if this is being causied by one of our adverts.

I will E mail you when I get a reply.
