rather than pick out individual stocks to trade, it can often be worthwhile to trade the indices themselves, especially in times of high volatility.
for those so inclined, i attach below charts for FTSE and FTSE 250, though one might equally be tempted to trade Dow or S&P, which is significantly broader in its coverage, or even NASDAQ
for ease of reading, i have attached 1 year and 3 month charts in each instance

most assuredly going to dubai to look for new biz in the long run, and also to maintain contact with existing clients
it's not a place i'ld choose to go on holiday, but from a biz trip point of view, it's pleasant enough between late october and mid/end april

well it was down about 35 late last night and now more-or-less b/e and comfortably above 6400 once more
prob is the balance in the index, so if you're brave enough, FTSE 250 may be the one to back
