Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

but rest assure on one thing they think they are better than other people .
not one of my family or any one from the cub is voting .
if the unions wanted to have elections like this they would be ruled illegal

I'm in favour of the police vote and think it should rolled out to all professions. I'm contracted to perform xyz, but hey, times are tough and we don't really have enough people so my employers should get together and vote for which tasks are most important for me to complete so that I may statistically perform better.... Sounds good to me and not even a mention of a pay cut....!

CROOKS AT WORK ON THE UK
US companies paying hardly any corporation tax on the UK
LONDON—Google, Amazon and Starbucks were accused of being immoral and manipulative in their U.K. tax affairs during a parliamentary hearing into the low amount of tax some multinational companies pay in Britain.
The hearing comes against a backdrop of heightened public resentment at the seemingly low taxes paid by some large companies during a time of austerity, and amid increased scrutiny of U.K. tax laws that allow multinational companies to pay hardly any corporation tax in Britain. ..............

if the law allows, then minimising one's tax liability can scarcely be called crooked ...... while now clearly being taken to the limit by all sorts of companies, until the law is changed, then they are, in many ways, absolutely correct in so doing
more and more countries now impose a withholding tax - i think colombia is 30%! - and i dare say something similar could be imposed in this scenario ..... however, it is never quite as simple as first appears, not least because of the inevitable side-effects - e.g. when dealing with colombia and other south american companies, we raise our prices to counter
