Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

Boris rallies the crowds out on the Battle Bus Tour
Boris Johnson was in fighting form out on the campaign trail in the Midlands yesterday. He got to grips with the real issues facing people and talked to local businesses about the specific challenges they face creating jobs and opportunities for people in the face of burdensome Brussels red tape. He then stopped off in Stafford market square to address hundreds of supporters about why City fat cats support staying in the EU, as they see their pay packets rise and rise whilst uncontrolled migration leads to wage depression for lower paid workers.
Back in London, the Prime Minister seemed more at home talking to suited and booted guests of the World Economic Forum. He continued his campaign of doing Britain down, painting another negative picture of life outside the EU, this time with dire warnings on trade deals.
This reveals the stark difference between the two campaigns. They are happy to talk to their friends in the City and big business, who can fix the rules to make the EU work in their favour. However, we will be out on the road talking to people about why we should take back control and spend the £350 million we send to the EU every week on our priorities. Every day we are gaining more and more support across the country. Together, we can win this.

Number of EU nationals working in UK skyrockets
ONS figures released this morning reveal that three quarters of the rise in employment over the past year has come from people born abroad. Indeed, the number of EU nationals working in the UK has increased by 224,001 in the last year alone, the equivalent of a city the size of Portsmouth.
The truth is that it is Brits on low pay - and those out of work - who feel the consequences of uncontrolled migration. They are forced to compete with millions of people from abroad for jobs, and they suffer downward pressure on their wages.
After we Vote Leave, we can create an immigration policy which is based on skills rather than the country where someone was born. And as the leader of the IN campaign admitted, wages will rise once we take back control of our borders. The only way to do this is to Vote Leave on 23 June.

The lights will stay on if we Vote Leave
Andrea Leadsom gave a speech yesterday in which she discussed the risks to the UK’s energy security if we stay in the EU. The Energy Minister highlighted new EU plans that would seriously endanger our energy supply, including a requirement for member states to take on legal responsibility for each other’s gas security. This could lead to stronger members within the EU being forced to prop up the supplies of the weaker ones. Ms Leadsom also pointed out that European Commission proposals will require the UK to ask eurocrats for approval before negotiating new energy deals with non-EU countries.
However, the Energy Minister pointed to benefits to consumers and businesses if we Vote Leave. We can take back control of our tax system and reduce energy bills, and not be subject to EU State Aid rules which have restricted our ability to support struggling industries such as steel. She concluded that leaving the EU will ‘give us freedom to keep bills down, to meet our climate change targets in the cheapest way possible, and of course, keep the lights on.’

Majority of polls still showing IN more likely.

the closer the result, the more there are likely to be strong aftershocks across many other member states, and a damn good job that will be too
