CBI - Wrong then wrong now
Last night, Lord Howard delivered a speech where he criticised the CBI’s record on the EU. The big business lobby group wants the UK to stay in the EU at any cost, but they have a dismal history when it comes to European issues.
In 1992 they called on the UK to join the Exchange Rate Mechanism, which was a disaster for our economy with interest rates rising to 15%, plunging homeowners across the country into negative equity. They then campaigned for the UK to join the Euro, which would have been disastrous.
The CBI does not represent British business. It speaks for the multinationals who support the EU because it works in their favour. They can afford expensive corporate lobbyists and large compliance departments to make the rules benefit their own interests. There is no better example of this than with the companies who have signed a letter today saying we should stay in the EU - last year these multinational firms together spent between €15.3 million and €17.65 million lobbying the European Commission.
Brussels is good for big businesses and fat cats who care about their bonuses, but it is bad for smaller businesses and entrepreneurs. The British people will not be bullied into voting to stay in by large corporates who are only looking out for their profit margin. On 23 June we will take back control of our economy and democracy to allow businesses to thrive and UK plc to prosper.

EU rules make it harder to stop criminals entering UK
Justice Minister Dominic Raab has lifted the lid on an important EU ruling that forces British officials to let terror suspects come into the UK unchallenged or disclose top secret intelligence to them. Writing in the Mail, Mr Raab explains how the European Court of Justice has ruled that a suspect 'must be informed, in any event, of the essence of the grounds on which a decision against him is taken'. However, security officials are understandably reluctant to hand over information which could expose their secret operations or activities of agents.
This shows how much control we have handed to the EU, and how this threatens our national security. Thanks to EU freedom of movement rules it means that it is much harder to block EU criminals from coming to the UK. Criminal convictions are not grounds alone for barring entry. Indeed, over the past decade, Britain has refused entry to just 11,000 EU nationals, compared to 200,000 non-EU nationals.
After we Vote Leave on 23 June we can take back control of our borders to ensure we can prevent dangerous criminals entering the UK. We can also stop the European Court having powers over our intelligence and security services, thereby strengthening our national security and helping to keep the British people safe.

It's also strange how Freda ignores this sort of reporting and probably truth , but doesn't suit his agenda i suppose .

The word to examine in probably and its meanings.
Make a list of things which when the referendum is over you would like addressed by the EU.
Probably the same problems which annoy many other countries in the EU.
That is one of the problems in being a member of a club, rather than camping in a tent on an isolated island.
Make your choice.

Free movement of people ,the EU know that huge amounts are coming to the UK and we are struggling to cope but they don't care.
Merkel inviting Syrians to come to Europe has been a disaster (she now knows this) but what have they done?
There is an uprising right across Europe and it will get worse .Breaking up the EU is the only way for Europe to survive .
I believe we will vote out ,not because i want to because i really believe the Brits have had enough ,the polls won't reflect this right now.

Just because I am voting OUT, it doesn't mean I think we will win. In fact I think the vote will be to stay IN.
The public are easily scared. The two camps are relying on fear. The OUT group are using fear of immigration and the IN group are using fear of damage to the economy. Each does have plus points, but the public are ignoring them as they are too vague and unproven. It will come down to which camp can frighten the voters the most. At the moment, my money is on the remain camp being better at generating fear.
It is no use moaning about Cameron's campaign. Both camps genuinely believe in their propositions. Neither side has any ulterior motives for staying or leaving. They are both trying as hard as they can to win. Both sides will use dirty tricks, that is just the nature of the battle.

A senior US diplomat has said the world's nations are "praying" for a Remain vote in Britain's EU referendum.
Samantha Power, the US ambassador to the United Nations, used an interview to give a stark warning about the "ramifications" for the rest of the world of a Brexit vote - saying the ties that bind Britain to Europe cannot be "snipped in some tidy way".
Ms Power, a former adviser to Barack Obama, said of Britain's decision: "All I can say is that the membership of the UN will be gathering in prayer and support for the Yes vote in advance of that vote next month.
"People have really invested in the linkages among European countries. The idea that those can be snipped in some tidy way without ramifications for the people of the United Kingdom or across Europe and the world is not realistic.

Migrants spark housing crisis:
Now EU tells Britain to build more homes as open borders send population soaring
European Commission report warned Britain heading for an 'acute' crisis
EU report, uncovered by Chris Grayling MP, said UK needs 220,000 a year
But it orders Britain to 'boost supply', instead of acknowledging migration
Grayling said building so many would change UK's 'nature and character'
Britain has been ordered by Brussels to build more houses – to cope with all the EU immigrants.
The European Commission warned the UK is heading for an ‘acute’ housing crisis caused by massive population growth.
It admitted that first-time buyers were being hit particularly hard and the situation could worsen, with official projections saying the UK needs at least 220,000 new houses a year. But, rather than acknowledging the clamour in the UK for stricter border controls to ease demand, the Commission ordered Britain to ‘take further steps to boost housing supply’.
The demand for more building is contained in a report into Britain’s housing market which was quietly slipped out on Wednesday.
