Referendum : to be in Europe or not to be ?, that is the question ! (REF)

required field - 03 Feb 2016 10:00

Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

Balls and Cable? Osborne really is scraping the barrel: The electorate kicked them out in 2015, so why does the Chancellor think voters will take any notice of what they say about the EU, asks RICHARD LITTLEJOHN

It can’t have escaped his attention that both Labour’s Balls and the Lib Dems’ Cable lost their seats at the last election. If voters weren’t prepared to return either of them to Parliament, why does he think people will take any notice of what they have to say about the EU? Not so long ago, Osborne was warning anyone who would listen that a Labour government with Balls in the Treasury would be a sure-fire recipe for economic disaster. Balls came to prominence as Gordon Brown’s bag man and is credited with writing that hilarious speech about ‘post neo-classical endogenous growth theory’, which he copied from an episode of Bill And Ben, The Flowerpot Men.

The latest poll of polls ( mean of 6 over last week) has it at 53:47. Turn out will be the key. Just ensure that you vote and ignore the polls. The bookies had Leicester at 5000:1.

There was another poll in the same paper besides the one put up by Haystacks(1971) Which was an online poll(I think the one in the graph(1971) was a phone poll?) that put the LEAVE side ahead, maybe someone can put that up?..

VICTIM - 19 May 2016 15:09 - 1976 of 12628

You are strange Hays , you say you want to leave but any chance of telling us the remainers lead in a poll and your in there .

grannyboy - 19 May 2016 15:14 - 1977 of 12628

Yes he never put the online poll up which gave a LEAVE side in lead..

2517GEORGE - 19 May 2016 15:18 - 1978 of 12628

Well most people I talk with are definite LEAVE voters, the same with the letters pages in newspapers, an overwhelming majority want to LEAVE.
