Amities /.... According to Plastic lnformation Europe { PIE } dated 4/9/2006 SEO have no more than 1.3 million Euros { approx 900K } in its coffers despite a placing which raised 3.7 million in June . Even with the best of bean counters at the helm that is sufficient capital for 2 , or perhaps 3 months at the very most . SEO publically stated on 9 /9/ 2006 that negotiations to raise neccassary monies were making good progress............................. .. This totally contradicts the facts, and is furthur compounded by the fact we were told at the last AGM the company had more than sufficient funds to see them through to full comercialization and certainly without recourse to furthur borrowings ............................................................................................................................................. . ... The interpolation in PIE s statement was that SEO have been frantically and forlornly scouring the city for funds; but sadly as yet it would seem their efforts are falling on deaf ears; with a PUBLIC rights issue looking to be the most likely outcome. What discounted price a rights issue ? you may ask ?,,,,, 2p ? / 2.5p ? - thearby causing massive dilution and overhang ........................................................................... ...lts not a hard call... With over 50 other packaging companies vying for WM business and all in attendance at WM,s recent conference on making the packaging business cheaper, more efficient and more environment friendly why should a monolith like WM chose a loss making company as SEO as a bedpartner? ? . This is not quantum physics .. Clearly this company is fiscally in deep trouble. . and im with CYNIC and ALDWICK on this one .and as things CURRENTLY stand l would not touch it with a bargepole. !! ................,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ............As an aside i find it astonoshing that a small cilique of posters with mole vision and the brains of a colony of chocolate frogs personally insult those individuals who dare to hold a contrarian view . We had this trouble with that ferkin dogmatic moron PMASTERSON ( PM1 } not so long ago. { How objective can a man who starts his own admiration website on SEO be ? ................ ln addition the market is ALWAYS RIGHT ! ALWAYS !!! ..lt merely feeds on your GREED on the cosy ride up and then mirrors your FEAR on the not so cosy downward nosedive . ... GET it right !! Any divergence from that and your breaking the first rule of applied economics and clearly riding the wrong train , .. l think 30p to 3p sums the whole sad saga up ,,As for 66p? Whilst very amusing thats very dangerous talk . The Fat lady has now left the building . ..Bien amicalment ,@+ J ...........................

Good to see some realism on this board. It's hard to see individuals/institutions shelling out for more equity. More likely, a deal will be done with a 3rd party and the existing shareholders will see the value of their holdings disappear down the plug hole.

Whether this is the most likely scenario is debatable. Down the tubes with a scavenger buying the IPR may be most likely.

oblomov - 13 Sep 2006 08:42 - 19793 of 27111

TFC, you didn't need to read PIE to learn that information, we knew it already from RNS's - yet another case of a fool more willing to make inane and negative comments than they are to do even the simplest of research. I expect you at least know what FROG pack is though, unlike that other idiot!

Nothing new in your post - why am I and many others so confident? Because we've done some research and know more than you and the other idiot knockers who continually state the obvious purely for the attention it gets them. If you are not an investor, why not go and play on a thread relevant to your own holdings and stop annoying us? As a non-shareholder, nobody here is interested in your irrelevant ramblings.

The Starpol 3000 FDA approval could be out anytime, due this week

robinhood - 13 Sep 2006 09:46 - 19796 of 27111

the master- how do you know? -hope u r right though

Oilywag - 13 Sep 2006 12:51 - 19797 of 27111

robinhood

My research a month ago indicated that the FDA approval for Starpol 3000 would take between 12 & 16 weeks from that date, so it maybe between 8 and 12 weeks from now.
My source was what I would describe as in the know. More than that I cannot say.

Seem to recall that during last AGM it was said approval to be imminent- SEO timetables however have always been questionable

aldwickk - 13 Sep 2006 13:39 - 19799 of 27111

If that is the time frame for FDA approval for Starpol 3000 then it will come just after SEO runs out of cash.

I know that they are testing Starpol 3000 in the US as we speak and my research says that they have been going well.

The oily one

With regard to FDA approval of Starpol 3000, the AGM statement alludes to approval whilst the Interim statement confirms awaiting approval. I therefore surmise that submission must have been somewhere between the two dates whereby the 120 day countdown would have commenced:

AGM statement 2nd May 2006:
"As announced on 14 February 2006, Starpol 2000 now has the relevant US FDA approval, along with its European equivalent. Starpol 3000 is expected to be confirmed as fully compliant under the same regulation and we expect approval in turn for this within weeks"

Interims 14th July 2006:
"Starpol 2000 selling successfully into US marketplace and Starpol 3000 awaiting food contact approvals......

....Starpol 2000 (biodegradable material) has been accredited full food contact approval from European and US regulatory bodies and is selling in the US market. Development of Starpol 3000 (100% sustainable and biodegradable) is complete. Similar food contact approvals are being sought......

......As announced on 14 February 2006, Starpol 2000 now has the relevant US FDA approval, along with its European equivalent. Starpol 3000 is expected to be confirmed as fully compliant under the same regulation and we expect approval in turn for this within weeks......

Starpol 3000 approval, whenever it comes, will have absolutely no impact on the share price UNLESS its is acompanied by firm and substantial orders. I have held a substantial number of these unfortunately for the last 2 years and admit to being sucked in by the blatant lies and misleading RNSs from their management. The world is talking up green issues and the environment big time at the moment but that does not automatically guarantee them a slice of the pie. My view is that they have f---ed up completely and cannot see who would want to provide any further funding. I guess they have 8 weeks or so to pull a rabbit out of the hat before cash goes. Cannot see institutions funding them, I also cannot see a rights issue being succuessful since I and many others would not poor good money after bad. Also does anyone know if the White trust fund which holds approx 23% of shares can afford to support a big rights issue?

I know SEO management claim to have the best product but if that's the case why aren't big companies buying it / signing up? Why haven't shareholders been told the truth about Greenseal, still no orders despite all trials apparently being complete, why why why???

I have now written my holding off with very heavy losses and put this down to experience. I think some one some time ago on this BB suggested once you sold shares you could really take a clear view of them. I agree and having thought about it the last few days have come to the conclusion that basically the SEO management are a bunch of incompetent lying wankers!

dawall - commiserations. I see you feel so strongly about this that you felt it worth repeating repeating.
LOL

garyble - 13 Sep 2006 16:12 - 19805 of 27111

Dawall,

These are indeed trying times, and possibly the darkest hour.....who knows?!

IF they are finalising a couple of contracts, and IF the contracts are for say a minimum of 60,000 tonnes pa. of Starpol, there should be a step-change in the SP as they should be able to put some meat on the bone in the ensuing RNSs.

It has taken at least 9 months to get to the stage of signing a couple of contracts for the MMPs, so in the grand scheme of things I don't believe it has been totally cocked up, but the management has shown itself to be somewhat green, but so have some investors.

IF SEO survives the next 4 weeks, it should go on to deliver on its promises.

aldwickk - 13 Sep 2006 18:07 - 19806 of 27111

Don't worry about a rights issue not being taken up, Thatwittalan and the lemmings who follow him will buy them.

hewittalan6 - 13 Sep 2006 18:25 - 19807 of 27111

It may come as a shock to you, but some people, not you obviously, have a mind of their own. It may also come as a shock to you that some people can read the simple phrase "I would not recommend anyone to buy into these" that I have put on many posts.
It may come as a shock to you, that others do their own research and make up their own minds.
It will come as no shock to anyone that your magnificent mastery of repartee goes no further that little boy name calling and that once again you manage to post without a hint of any research or input onto the subject, that you have no agenda anywhere except to cause as much trouble as possible, try against all the odds to be superior to everyone else, and resort to the silly little infants device of name calling.
It will also come as no shock to anyone who frequents these boards, or any others that I really could not care less what you or anyone else may think. Everyone is free to read what is written, make up their own mind, do their own research and, for all I care, decide to put all their money wherever they want. Just as I do with mine. If you have something to say about the share, that is worth saying and not simply repeating something you read on an AOL sainsburys blog, then say it. If you wish simply to badmouth people, wait until tomorrow and you can do it in the playground with your chums.
Life is too short to be bothered with inbred little ignoramous like you, so if you post something that is relevant, fine. If not, than i shall happily ignore it and let everyone else work out what most people already know about you.

hewittalan6 - 13 Sep 2006 18:28 - 19808 of 27111

For everyone else;
I think it is now safe to say that the mysterious post close trades we have seen for the last 3 days is someone selling off. The share price movement makes me fairly certain of that, in my own mind, but what do other (sober) posters think?

tweenie - 13 Sep 2006 18:51 - 19809 of 27111

Being a stupid lemming, i'll have to agree with you.
But theen again WTFDIK, as i'm soooo stupid (with my own money) I still hold loads of these shares.

:o)

antofelli - 13 Sep 2006 18:51 - 19810 of 27111

Nothing has changed, but every day we get closer to the finance call but as well the contracts that we know "are being finalised" and other positive targets. Being long for a long time and never been scared by the trader mentality. When the traders knock the price down I see that as a buying opportunity. I know the traders had big margins on seo so far because of the uncertainty wich surrounds seo`s negotiations. I`m confident pretty soon that uncertainty will be all cleared off.
