Referendum : to be in Europe or not to be ?, that is the question ! (REF)

required field - 03 Feb 2016 10:00

Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

Take it with a pinch of salt all this polls, so here another one for OUT ........

Poll gives "Out" a 3-point lead ahead of UK's EU referendum

LONDON, May 20 (Reuters) - The "Out" camp has a lead of three percentage points over supporters of staying in the European Union ahead of Britain's June 23 referendum, according to an online opinion poll from TNS published on May 17.

The poll of 1,222 people, conducted on May 10-12, found "Leave" on 41 percent, "Remain" on 38 percent with 21 percent of respondents undecided

Dear Freda my point about the luvvies is that they all supported LABOUR at the last election , and you know what happened there , eh what about that then .

Fred1new - 20 May 2016 12:27 - 2020 of 12628

The con party sycophants supported Heath when he negotiated to become a member of the EU.

(I doubt they showed much loyalty to the UK or the torrid party.)

The remnants of tory rebels (yesterday's men) over joining the EU have either shrivelled up, dribbling into the drinks, or dead.

Let's face it most of them are tossers ,it's a crying shame we have a dishonest government and no opposition , even Fred doesn't think Corbyn is fit to lead.

So what now ? if we vote out maybe some of the Brexiters could form a useful government .

jimmy b - 20 May 2016 12:41 - 2022 of 12628

If we vote out i want to hear Dave's resignation speech the following day ,maybe we should play him this .

Gove says immigration will make NHS 'unsustainable' if UK stays in EU

Michael Gove has claimed that the NHS will no longer be sustainable if Britain stays in the EU because an immigrant population the size of Scotland could come to the UK by 2030.

The justice secretary and leading Brexit campaigner said if the UK votes to remainin the EU on 23 June he would press the government for an emergency cash injection for the NHS, while if it voted to leave he would push for hundreds of millions of pounds currently sent to the EU to be spent on the health service.

Gove’s speech coincided with official figures showing the NHS in England has run up a record deficit of £2.45bn – the biggest overspend in its history – as it struggles to cope with a surge in demand for care while suffering a major budget squeeze.

The Vote Leave immigration forecasts are likely to be strongly challenged by the remain campaign as they presume that five new countries will join the EU within four years. David Cameron has said Turkey is unlikely to join the EU in his lifetime.

Celebrities and now Gove quoted.. Some of you really do live in a sheltered little world of your own if you think anything of those two.

jimmy b - 20 May 2016 14:09 - 2025 of 12628

Gove is hugely important he could be your Prime Minister one day .

Stan - 20 May 2016 14:10 - 2026 of 12628

jimmy b - 20 May 2016 14:22 - 2027 of 12628

VICTIM - 20 May 2016 16:11 - 2034 of 12628

Mr Junker is saying if we leave we will be deserters and treated like a third country , he says more but Gisella Stewart who is a Labour MP campaingning for Brexit said ," another day and another threat from those that are trying to intimidate the British people into voting to vote to remain in the failing EU , these extraordinary comments are a new low ."

VICTIM - 20 May 2016 16:13 - 2035 of 12628

See that Freda LABOUR .

jimmy b - 20 May 2016 16:20 - 2036 of 12628

It is rather odd because i have heard people say they are voting out after Obama told us we would be at the back of the queue ,the British don't like being threatened .

I now hope Trump wins the US election ,he will do deals with us especially after Cameron has to stand down.

Stan - 20 May 2016 16:32 - 2037 of 12628
