Israeli Gaza conflict?????? (GAZA)

Fred1new - 06 Jan 2009 19:21

Will this increase or decrease the likelihood of terrorist actions in America, Europe and the rest of the world?

If you were a member of a family murdered in this conflict, would you be seeking revenge?

Should Tzipi Livni and Ehud Olmert, be tried for war crimes if or when this conflict comes to an end?

What will the price of oil be in 4 weeks time?

Hays,

It seems to me that what I have come up against is an orchestrated group.

I have been informed that some members of that group had difficulties on previous BBs..

Now. I am not sure whether that is true, or not.

who is we?
i certainly know nothing about orchestration, but then i am tone deaf

Fred
I think people just got fed up with your rants about Israel I am not a fan of Israel either, but I don't feel the necessity to post constantly on the subject as you do. You seem to trawl the internet looking for anti Israel information and to what end. We know you are anti Israel, but what is the point in repeating yourself day in day out?

splat - 19 May 2010 00:10 - 2067 of 6906

cynic - you do yourself a huge disservice - as a musician, I know that there is nobody on the planet who is "tone deaf", it is a condition that doesn't exist! Untrained aurally maybe... sorry, I just don't like the phrase, I'm on a mission to convince anyone I meet of their inate musicality!! :-)

MightyMicro - 19 May 2010 01:48 - 2068 of 6906

splat: are you sure about that? The non-existence of 'tone deaf', that is. I have known one or two people that claim to be tone deaf. It always seemed to me to be the aural equivalent of colour blind.

splat - 19 May 2010 07:01 - 2069 of 6906

nah, everyone can learn to differentiate and reproduce pitch, MM, for starters, everyone can tell their mum's and dad's voices apart as babies, and everyone recognizes different music. It's all down to vocal training, and some people have more difficulty than others when reproducing a certain pitch, but they can learn to control the voice.

hilary - 19 May 2010 07:07 - 2070 of 6906

Oh, I dunno about nobody being tone deaf, Splatters.

You just need to hear my husband and son sing to rethink that notion. Especially the way they've both been the last couple of weeks with Chelsea winning the double.

hilary - 19 May 2010 07:10 - 2071 of 6906

Their imagination's good though, even if they can't sing. They've sung songs about things I never knew were possible.

:o)

cynic - 19 May 2010 07:10 - 2072 of 6906

one can most certainly be trained orally!

cynic - 19 May 2010 07:12 - 2073 of 6906

a snippet from a long reuters news thingy on IG ....

British oil company Rockhopper Exploration Plc said this month it found high quality oil north of the wind-swept archipelago in the southern Atlantic ocean, but future drilling was needed to confirm whether it is a commercial discovery.

In the past, oil exploration has lifted expectations on the Falklands -- home to about 3,000 people -- without leading to production.

does a cynic have integrity or is he amoral in his search for cynicism?
or
does amorality have its own rules of integrity?

Don't call him dear.

He will object.

cynic - 19 May 2010 08:42 - 2078 of 6906

probably amoral and maybe assexual too

MN,

Have a look at this as a leader.

Read PP, and coming from more conventional back ground, found it small, but readable, informative, very amusing, fascinating and it certainly made me review, what I was doing. Although, I think, it needs to be taken with a large pinch of salt.

That link is about something called "Provocative Therapy". Presumably that involves you getting to feel good about p!ssing people off. Figures.

Isaacs - 19 May 2010 10:45 - 2082 of 6906

Fred - that looks like a good site. Perhaps you should post on there all day about the Middle East.
