Inflation is fine. Or credit rating is better than almost every EU country and every other country for that matter. The pound is lower because of our low interest rates. If you buy Euros to invest in EU banks such as Germany then you get better rates. It is always the same when there is a differential rate situation.

The low pound is good for our exports. Our currency is also low due to the low interest on our bonds.
