They are yours. When you buy the share you own it even if you do not pay for it until 5 or 10 days after

Mind you at this price I'm saying enoughs enough c70%+ since the bear raid by Shares Geoff Ho. HO HO HO Xmas has come early

oblomov - 17 Oct 2006 08:34 - 21532 of 27111

I dont think we'll see profit taking while the buys are still coming in, the likelihood of more institutional buying and the SP is still rising.

The way things are going I might just be tempted to take up the offer.

stockdog - 17 Oct 2006 09:25 - 21533 of 27111

Tonyrelaxes - not an expert, but don't think you're right. Admission to Crest of the open offer (which allows Crest members to contact their client shareholders to make the offer to them, as far as I understand it) is not the same as admission to AIM of the new shares which cannot happen until the EGM in any event. All 2bn new shares willl be admitted after the EGM has approved the fund-raising and on the same date, I am pretty sure.

oblo, i don't see any reason why anyone shouldn't take up the offer. i mean, it's a near 50% discount to today's sp. i bought a few more at 1p and sold today for about break even. i will be taking up my allocation and hopefully the sp will still be around this level. that'll be a very nice 90%/100% profit. well done to those who jumped in at 0.8p. you'll be sitting on a very handsome profit right now. it must be tempting to cash it in, after all, when was the last time you could take a profit on seo?

Tonyrelaxes - 17 Oct 2006 09:36 - 21535 of 27111

stockdog
Thanks for explaining that.

hewittalan6 - 17 Oct 2006 09:39 - 21536 of 27111

Bos,
Tempted to trade, but not sell.
I believe that spring will see 5p.
But don't tell anyone. They'll rib me mercilessly if it doesn't.

With Jarvis Brokers. Just contacted them, as yet they have not received the offer paperwork and stated they would chase it up today.

oblomov - 17 Oct 2006 10:11 - 21541 of 27111

Bos,

Quite agree. I'll be taking up the offer. Nice to see some blue, even at these prices.

Even feel tempted to buy more shares (bought some just prior to the RNS when my mood was more positive. Like the Mineworkers Union involvement (cant be many Mineworkers left, can there? Although I think they are in the process of reopening a Tin Mine in Cornwall).

Tonyrelaxes - 17 Oct 2006 10:17 - 21542 of 27111

robin

TDW do not send you a Prospectus in these circumstances. In theory TDW only have one shareholding covering all of their Nominees and would have received only one Prospectus and Application Form for the lot. They then have to allocate the Entitlement pro-rata. They then post the 'action required' link on each account and send a brief letter advising, asking for instructions or pointing out the default instruction.

If you want a copy of the Prospectus you have to ask for a copy - probably best done from SEO or T&G

alfalfa - 17 Oct 2006 10:20 - 21543 of 27111

oblo - RJB is also re-opening a large colliery in Hatfield, Yorkshire by May of next year.

Alfa.

hewittalan6 - 17 Oct 2006 10:47 - 21544 of 27111

Another one??

alfalfa - 17 Oct 2006 10:53 - 21545 of 27111

Alan - do you mean another colliery or another Announcement ?

More for the French if the latter.

hewittalan6 - 17 Oct 2006 11:23 - 21548 of 27111

Checking the 2 RNS, the 15 million buy yesterday was not the French.

alfalfa - 17 Oct 2006 11:27 - 21549 of 27111

No, it was more likely the 11,500,000 VW trade on 11 Oct.

garyble - 17 Oct 2006 11:36 - 21550 of 27111

So it begins......

Someone mentioned the expectation of a series of Calyon RNSs.
