Bos,

Quite agree. I'll be taking up the offer. Nice to see some blue, even at these prices.

Even feel tempted to buy more shares (bought some just prior to the RNS when my mood was more positive. Like the Mineworkers Union involvement (cant be many Mineworkers left, can there? Although I think they are in the process of reopening a Tin Mine in Cornwall).

TDW do not send you a Prospectus in these circumstances. In theory TDW only have one shareholding covering all of their Nominees and would have received only one Prospectus and Application Form for the lot. They then have to allocate the Entitlement pro-rata. They then post the 'action required' link on each account and send a brief letter advising, asking for instructions or pointing out the default instruction.

If you want a copy of the Prospectus you have to ask for a copy - probably best done from SEO or T&G

oblo - RJB is also re-opening a large colliery in Hatfield, Yorkshire by May of next year.

Another one??

alfalfa - 17 Oct 2006 10:53 - 21545 of 27111

Alan - do you mean another colliery or another Announcement ?

More for the French if the latter.

Checking the 2 RNS, the 15 million buy yesterday was not the French.

alfalfa - 17 Oct 2006 11:27 - 21549 of 27111

No, it was more likely the 11,500,000 VW trade on 11 Oct.

garyble - 17 Oct 2006 11:36 - 21550 of 27111

So it begins......

Someone mentioned the expectation of a series of Calyon RNSs.

kimoldfield - 17 Oct 2006 11:46 - 21551 of 27111

Alan the 15m could still be Calyon, but not reported yet. Another Notifiable Interest to come IMO, with more to follow over the next few days. Off to buy a beret and a string of onions.

Tonyrelaxes - 17 Oct 2006 11:49 - 21552 of 27111

Yesterdays 15 million could have been the French but are not the subject of todays RNS.
Todays RNS figures were received by SEO by letter already dated yesterday

We shall see....

greekman - 17 Oct 2006 12:20 - 21553 of 27111

Just noticed a new mm who is dealing in SEO (KAUP, who are market makers in the USA and on the Iceland Stock Exchange). Any significance in this I wonder, or have they been there a while and I just haven't noticed.

alfalfa - 17 Oct 2006 12:33 - 21554 of 27111

greekman - No, they are new.

greekman - 17 Oct 2006 12:33 - 21555 of 27111

Buy orders, 1,465,448....Sell orders, 5,879,710 with none of the MM's anywhere near the Bid or Ask. Looks like they don't have any better idea than we do which way its heading in the short term. Looks like they are not that interested in buying more, but also not too keen on selling. Could of cause be going through the order book as not named. These systems are never as clear for us PI's as they could be.

greekman - 17 Oct 2006 12:41 - 21556 of 27111

For those that are interested.

With effect from the start of business on Friday 29 September 2006 Kaupthing Singer and Friedlander Capital Markets Limited ("Kaupthing" or "the firm") will commence trading as a market maker in UK domestic securities.

The firm trades in a principal and agency capacity in UK domestic securities. Kaupthing has access to SETS and SETSmm, but does not have access to the international order book.

Fred1new - 17 Oct 2006 13:07 - 21557 of 27111

I would be gratecful if anybody tell me the final date for payment for the rights uptake.?

With Comdirect I can do it on line but not certain with Barclays?

Topped up a little over the last week or so. Think this ride will be a little like RTD's.

Tonyrelaxes - 17 Oct 2006 13:24 - 21558 of 27111

Ah - a thud by the front door.
Prospectus(es) arrived!

oblomov - 17 Oct 2006 13:27 - 21559 of 27111

For Calyon can we read SPHere?

oblomov - 17 Oct 2006 13:30 - 21560 of 27111

Tony, that will either be the ghost of Fred Elliot or the postman collapsing under the weight!
