Checking the 2 RNS, the 15 million buy yesterday was not the French.

No, it was more likely the 11,500,000 VW trade on 11 Oct.

So it begins......

Someone mentioned the expectation of a series of Calyon RNSs.

Alan the 15m could still be Calyon, but not reported yet. Another Notifiable Interest to come IMO, with more to follow over the next few days. Off to buy a beret and a string of onions.

Todays RNS figures were received by SEO by letter already dated yesterday

Just noticed a new mm who is dealing in SEO (KAUP, who are market makers in the USA and on the Iceland Stock Exchange). Any significance in this I wonder, or have they been there a while and I just haven't noticed.

Buy orders, 1,465,448....Sell orders, 5,879,710 with none of the MM's anywhere near the Bid or Ask. Looks like they don't have any better idea than we do which way its heading in the short term. Looks like they are not that interested in buying more, but also not too keen on selling. Could of cause be going through the order book as not named. These systems are never as clear for us PI's as they could be.

With effect from the start of business on Friday 29 September 2006 Kaupthing Singer and Friedlander Capital Markets Limited ("Kaupthing" or "the firm") will commence trading as a market maker in UK domestic securities.

The firm trades in a principal and agency capacity in UK domestic securities. Kaupthing has access to SETS and SETSmm, but does not have access to the international order book.

I would be gratecful if anybody tell me the final date for payment for the rights uptake.?

With Comdirect I can do it on line but not certain with Barclays?
