THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Success is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm.

Take note Fred :-)) -

A fanatic is one who can't change his mind and won't change the subject.

Whats the matter with your table, has one of its legs fell off. :-))

Good night, I will turn the lights off.

D,

As dangerous as zealots following a leadership which doesn't know where its going and has no map of the future but holds promises of riches around the corner for the chosen few.

New York, New York!

Skinny,

It is this tick I have!

Not quite sure why I get repeats, but one Ctrl on one of my keyboards is too close to my little finger.

It is a b. nuisance.

I will do an N's .. ... .... ... .

Cyners still in bed???

Haystack - 21 Feb 2013 12:02 - 21617 of 81564

gf's analysis of the property market in London only applies to the top end. The rest of it is just driven by a lack of supply.

Haystack - 21 Feb 2013 12:11 - 21618 of 81564

gf's thread 21607 is immediately inaccurate in one important aspect. His cut and paste (presumably without reading) has this statement, "Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning the last Presidential election:

Number of States won by: Obama: 19 McCain: 29"

What happened to Mitt Romney? I look forward to more random pastes of articles supporting the Looney left position.

No sign of cyners, snoring away. Must be a public school boy thing !

cynic - 21 Feb 2013 13:52 - 21620 of 81564

been out of the office all morning

Haystack - 21 Feb 2013 13:58 - 21621 of 81564

My son has only been up for an hour. He is on half-term.

Fred1new - 21 Feb 2013 14:22 - 21622 of 81564

Hays,

Is it true that Osborne is going to be ask to stand down to concentrate on reorganising of the Con party for the next election?

Cable is being tipped as his replacement?

What a party. Swerve to the right reverse to then left looking trying to find middle of the road again.

Fun to watch!

goldfinger - 21 Feb 2013 14:27 - 21623 of 81564

Fred you are joking arent you.

Haystack - 21 Feb 2013 14:27 - 21624 of 81564

Cable won't take over. The Conservative MPs don't like him (neither do I).

I think it is very unlikely that Osborne will change jobs. He is doing a pretty good job in his current job. Cable has said that he thinks Osborne is doing all the right things.

hilary - 21 Feb 2013 14:35 - 21625 of 81564

Yes, Osborne is doing a good job as Chancellor. The economy should be in very good health by 2015.

I just wish they'd ditch this High Speed 2 nonsense. Who of sound mind would want to get to Manchester and Birmingham quicker? For a fraction of the money involved, they could knock Hadrian's Wall down and rebuild it 250 miles further south and 20' higher.
