Thanks Jeff. That's a kind offer but I'm not that bothered about it.
Glad to hear that Cyprus was fun. I recall a trip up the Troodos mountains in an open top Jeep in spring one year. J had a crazy idea that if there was snow we might be able to ski. Derrrrrr!

That's not such a crazy idea. It was a boast of airmen I have known that they would go skiing in the morning and swimming in the afternoon, gave the sea time to warm up a bit. OK for some.

Hil / Socs
Apparently there are two recognised Ski runs that are open from about Dec to Feb. Probably not up to the standard of the more recognised ski resorts around Europe. I guess that your main priority when choosing a ski resort is a good doctor/hospital on hand...LOL

I'm too old for chandeliers, lw. But upside down over the bannisters ........ that's a different kettle of fish. Night, night.

Didn't get any sleep last night, got up at 3am and just sat there gazing at our bannisters; unbelievable.
Timbo..apparently a black guy has already got the concession; jointly owned with some Irish guy the ski platform's at the bottom and they ski upward.
At the summit there's nothing but a huge bannister...oh yea, and a fish kettle.
:-0))

Hope you don't mind, Socs. I've just returned from the dreaded evening class and picked up this nice Lebanese take-away, so ignore me while I chomp away. Another glass of red? Why, thank you! That would be more than acceptable. (I'll bite your hand off!)

Evening.....
That sounds a bit dangerous Hilary, and what's the deal with the kettle and fish?
I hope none of your Chelsea players have been naughty Hil.
Are Newcastle the favorites?

Nothing really Jeff. I presume you heard about the Florida Melbourne airport contract. News expected this month, all being well. It is my estimation that if things go as planned, Florida could well be the real start of the Planestation concept, i.e. inter-Planestation flights with negotiated service contracts.
At some time in the future I would expect to see management contracts with flightline service companies, like Alpha Airports, across a range of Planestations. That would give Wiggins and operators economies of scale and a constant quality of service.
But enough of this speculation, I've had a rotten cold and need a large hot toddy to buck me up. (No Hilary, I said toddy not totty!) But thanks all the same.
Jeff and Hilary - Please do me a favour and re-establish e-mail contact, I've temporarily lost all my e-mail addresses when my old PC went down.
Thanks, bars open by the way.

Vasey! How delightful, our paths don't seem to have crossed recently although I have read all you have posted about DYS. I have been researching fuel cells out of scientific interest and am quite fascinated by them. I really like the idea of the 1 Megawatt train the US is building.
Now about that drink, pint of VC do the trick?
