Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

Socrates - 22 Jul 2008 08:17 - 21829 of 24230

Good morning all.

kimoldfield
It is a 24 hour place, try pulling the door instead of pushing it. Welcome anyway.

Keaydian, please take your feet out of the trough.

stockbunny - 22 Jul 2008 08:20 - 21830 of 24230

Ahhh so the rumours are true then Socco - you are here quietly sipping the amber necter into the wee small hours! LOL ;>)
Yes quite true it is 24 hours technically speaking, its just practically speaking it tends to be busier during the day :>)

kimoldfield - 22 Jul 2008 08:31 - 21831 of 24230

Last time I pulled a door handle, it came off in my hand. I just got hold of it like this, pulled and.....................oh, erm, oops! Sorry, I'll just put it on the counter over here shall I? I must really be more careful when I pull something! ;o)

KEAYDIAN - 22 Jul 2008 08:32 - 21832 of 24230

I need to wash my feet.

Socrates - 22 Jul 2008 08:35 - 21833 of 24230

stockbunny
OK, you got me. Amber nectar yes, but of the tea variety with milk. That other alcoholic stuff is wasted on me.

Oh dear, the vandals have been trashing the door again. I'll get it fixed.

stockbunny - 22 Jul 2008 08:57 - 21834 of 24230

LOL kimoldfield - Socco is a whizz at mending things :>)
Keaydian, yes that might be a good idea!

KEAYDIAN - 22 Jul 2008 09:00 - 21835 of 24230

I'll use the outside tap.

I'll have to take me strides off so I don't get the legs wet.

tabasco - 22 Jul 2008 09:03 - 21836 of 24230

Be careful if you see kimoldfied out back!

kimoldfield - 22 Jul 2008 09:56 - 21837 of 24230

Now, now. Just 'cos I sign kim, doesn't mean I'm not a straight guy; I am and yep, I'm a fella! Talking of which, I really fancy a double FEB. I don't mind cooking it myself if I have to.

tabasco - 22 Jul 2008 10:03 - 21838 of 24230

Sorry Kim..got my bangers and mash mixed?

Spaceman - 22 Jul 2008 10:15 - 21839 of 24230

Kim sorry about the door handle, Its not been fixed since KEAYDIAN had a go at it with the axe a couple of months ago.

KEAYDIAN - 22 Jul 2008 10:16 - 21840 of 24230

I heard that

kimoldfield - 22 Jul 2008 10:37 - 21841 of 24230

Erm, does he always carry an axe??

Socrates - 22 Jul 2008 10:39 - 21842 of 24230

No. Sometimes it's a chopper.

kimoldfield - 22 Jul 2008 10:45 - 21843 of 24230

:o)
I'll just nip and put the frying pan on the hob, if that's ok. My wife will only let me have porridge at home so this will be a real treat. Anyone one else for a fry-up?

stockbunny - 22 Jul 2008 10:49 - 21844 of 24230

I'll pass thanks, I only eat danish or cereal :>)
Good to see you in here Kim and enjoy - only rule apart from no bunny or lamb on the menu is do not give Keaydian the key to the axe cupboard, cos all hell breaks loose when he's weilding that thing! No chair is safe! ;>)

kimoldfield - 22 Jul 2008 10:59 - 21845 of 24230

Cheers Stockbunny, rules understood. Now, how do I turn the gas on, or is this thing electric?

stockbunny - 22 Jul 2008 11:06 - 21846 of 24230

Gas cooker in here, turn knob (on cooker) and click ignition......

kimoldfield - 22 Jul 2008 11:14 - 21847 of 24230

Yes, got it thanks. OK, frying pan on heat (not the same sort as the dog of course), now then, cooking oil yes, bring up to high temp and throw in bacon, sausage & black pudding. Lovely. Whoaa! flames, is it supposed to do that? The gas man told me that blue flames are good....ohoh, err help! Is this the fire blanket? Phew, that's it sorted. Leave the doors and windows open for half an hour or so and it'll all be fine. Hmm don't fancy the look of that lot now. Do you do ham sandwiches?

KEAYDIAN - 22 Jul 2008 11:19 - 21848 of 24230

(pokes face round the door)

Excuse me for disturbing you all, but whilst washing my feet my strides have gone missing. Can I come in?
