Turkey has managed only 1 of the 32 chapters of negotiations. They don't meet a single one of the convergence criteria. They are at least a generation away of joining the EU.

You can put up has many post you like Haystacks stating that
Turkey are years away from joining, but it does not alter the fact
of 'Call me Daves' desires for Turkey to be fast tracked into the
EU, he's stated it on MANY occasions, and put up money.
But has we all know 'Daves' a treacherous lying deceptive, broken promises,
snake oil salesman.
And it also rest on how desperate the EU are in curtailing the immigrant
crisis.

The leader of the Britex, Boris the piffle Johnstone is on record arguing that Turkey should be allowed to join EU. What say he now??.
Boris changes with the wind. Can't believe a word he says.

I've already stated that BoJo is a buffoon, but its been the media that's
elevated him onto some kind of pedestal, for their own agenda of course.
What is it...Brexit or Britex....or is someone trying to muddy the waters??

Sorry grannyboy
Britex make stainless steel urinals can see why you don't want confusion.
Boris would not agree with you, he believes he is the leader, and a shoe in for future Tory leader.
Anyway very good to hear we both agree he is a twit.

Besides ALL of us paying for this kind of thing, its mainly aimed at fred(2165)
EU students leave the UK taxpayers 89 million pounds bill by fleeing
without paying tuition fee's, more then 10,000 return home with unpaid
tuition fees, admitted by the Student Loan Company.
Yes you can imagine them all laughing their little socks off at the generosity
of the UK taxpaying public, along with all the other immigrants claiming
benefits they've never had to contribute to..

I wonder if the Austrian Green party gets funding from the EU like
the UK one does?
cynic that would be an ongoing guesstimate, the last I heard it was
around the 750 million pound mark, but who knows, anyone can go to
hospital and get treatment with no questions asked.

Vicky,
Sounds like a reference to the little exiters.
Good to see the Austrians has shown some sense.
Pity Dumbo and his mate may have to look for exile in Turkey.
