CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

Socrates - 28 Jul 2008 08:12 - 22029 of 24230

It's too hot, if anybody wants me I will be in a state of undress in the hammock.

KEAYDIAN - 28 Jul 2008 08:23 - 22030 of 24230

What a top idea to the new week, naked Mondays.

Can we make this a regular occurrence?

Socrates - 28 Jul 2008 08:57 - 22031 of 24230

I never said I was naked! I never go outside without a hat.

kimoldfield - 28 Jul 2008 09:12 - 22032 of 24230

It's just as hot in here as outside, has the air condition gone? Could be the heat from the oven perhaps, is that bread baking that I can smell? Mmmm.

Well, I picked the wrong time to go down to London didn't I? Guiness direct from Dublin and I wasn't here; not much point in me turning the tap on, Dublin will have been drunk dry. Still, on the bright side, an amazing coincidence, we stayed in a hotel instead of with one of our daughters as it was more convenient this time, and who did we bump into? George the milkman! Yes, uncanny isn't it. Of all the hotels in all of the world, he was staying at ours! Well, in my renowned quick thinking way, I took George to one side and asked if he would do me a favour, which I would pay him for; I wanted to nip around town on my own for a while, have a drink or two in some of my favourite pubs and watch the rugby test match at Walkabout, so would he keep my wife occupied with some tales of his milk round which she seems to like so much, poor woman! Guess what! George, my hero, he said sure, no problem!! and 20 would enough to buy her a drink at the bar!!! What a bloke, I'll bet you won't find one like him anywhere else.

kimoldfield - 28 Jul 2008 09:12 - 22033 of 24230

Where's my hat gone?

kimoldfield - 28 Jul 2008 09:12 - 22034 of 24230

Where's my hat gone?

kimoldfield - 28 Jul 2008 09:13 - 22035 of 24230

Did I just repeat myself again?

kimoldfield - 28 Jul 2008 09:14 - 22036 of 24230
