Today they have fallen 22% to a new low of 223p ..are they another Marconi..?
The chart looks like one long suicide note.

Will depend on how far lloys goes up since your getting 83 shares for 100. At min they're approx on same ratio as when deal was struck unless my calculations are wrong

At present prices HBOS is valued at 2.67 per share. It will no doubt change; which way though?!

if americans are following the same news about short selling than i think we can see another upsurge in the price which is only my view.

aye, as they know it will at least double, even treble in value in a few years time even from todays sp.
i'd have thought other banks would have capitulated 1st and not hbos.......barclays would be my bank to capitualate as it is in usa and needs about 5 billion to shore up

I wouldnt leave any cash in any shares over the weekend whatever you decide to do ! Anything could happen - its way too volatile, I might call it wrong but if them yanks take a drop we'll be in the sh*t - and they are dropping even though there up 3% they are well off the highs.

Lloyds look cheap - but too risky leaving in over weekend - might take a punt though , what the hell !

Without wanting to rock the boat .....correct me if I'm wrong but the Isle of man has a weird status.....I'm not sure if it is part of the UK or even part of the EC.....I do know that it only pays 10% tax, that's why so many hedge funds and banks are based there; (ref 216).
